I have found that having vocals in place helps when working the arrangement. The vocal tell you what is needed.

Bass guitar has some good fakes with trilian and other vst's but guitar airways needs to be live. As for vocals, it's not easy to hunt down a good vocalist with a decent home recording set up without some cash.
For the app, there's some great pointers you can find by opening up @Carrion Haven 's recent tracks. Either that or all of mine have remix enabled

Well mainly getting some of the apps features down, but especially the problem of there being no good way to make nay guitar arrangments wihtought having it done live. and also the issue of finding someone with the vocals equipped for it lol.
