Hey. I make ambient music (I am not that good at it but I try my best). Maybe someone can give me some tips of how to improve because I've been using this app for 2 months and my music is still not that good. Any help/tips
Give me a follow for more!

i am not really qualified for ambient advice, but i could tell you that this is gonna take much longer than a year to finally get the hang off (i have a deleted acc which was almost a year and a half old) so dont get your hopes down
Yup agree with Palestinium. You need a basic knowledge of music theory, especially, Sound-Design, mixing, arrangement and all of these come with experience. Usually years of it. You can learn a lot by opening tracks from people you like here and looking at their drafts through the remix button. Watch tutorials on music outside of AT. Having knowledge in mixing is not just useful for making a track sound clean, but you also learn how sound behaves, which helps with Sound-Design. Nothing will come immediately and takes practice and experience. I saw my first improvements around 2 years in and am definitely not where I want to be yet.
But if you enjoy it, you will keep at it and improve immensely. Don't worry about "failures and mistakes", those make up 90% of what you do in all honesty. Don't see them as you failing, see them as you learning. And also, try things, try to deviate some "rules", because that's how you make something unique. Experiment with the sound.
Another thing from my experience is, don't compare yourself too much to other people who've made music for years. I did that and it seriously gnawed on my mental health. Compare it to your previous self and previous music.
Thank you all! :)
Know music theory, and read the manual to this site. Other than that know the idea you want to go for in a song, plan it out.
i dont know a lot, but just make what you feel... what yito said! don't look at anybody else's work, just yours. there is no mistakes in true passion and care for something you love (if you truly love it.) you have to have passion. passion. passion. passion. it is key beyond anything else. key beyond music theory. key beyond inspiration. everything. you have to make whatever you feel in your soul, you know? you have to endure the thunderstorm before you bask in silver lining.. u don't get good overnight. but you can improve overnight. it might sound corny but just keep shit real :3c
For those who do not understand music theory, I will say this; don't worry about it. Personally, I've not studied it much myself - though it hasn't impacted me, or my music. Music theory is very interesting however, and will definitely provide you with more knowledge, but will it make you a better artist? No, absolutely not. Experiment, practice, and read the manual. It's okay to listen to other stuff - don't just only listen to your music. Extend your palette, and get a taste for other things. You'll find yourself not only discovering good music, and talent, but you might even be inspired by another user. Focus on fine-tuning your sound, and make what you want to hear, not what's trending, or what others want you to make. These are all my own opinions of course, and just things I've learned over the years. I wish you good-luck on your musical journey my friend ;)
some good advice. really comes down to if a user really wants to go somewhere and is truly passionate !!!!! discover, experiment, n find your sound!
