Collapsing Automation Tracks

Title says it all.

You could right click on a device in the timeline view, and click a button that says "Collapse Automation Tracks", which could either shrink them or hide them from view depending on your preferences (or even have them as separate options) This option would be a toggle for the specific device.

Let's say for example, if you have a Heisenberg with 3 automation parameters, right clicking on the box for that Heisenberg in the timeline view would pull up that option, and toggling it would collapse the timeline automation tracks for that device only. This would be helpful in a scenario where you are trying to isolate a specific automation for a specific device if you have them all collapsed. I don't think it would be as practical to show/hide all automation tracks from the entire project at once, especially if it is a large project.

This idea is mainly to allow us to reduce clutter in the timeline view, and make it look a little tidier.

I like that idea and I'd also like to have a global collapse.

Yeah, it could be another option in the same menu. I didn't think about that when I was writing this.

I agree! This option (and what @chordofdestruction suggested here as well) would be helpful.

Thanks. I won't close this as duplicate, because your request covers multiple (yet, similar) features.

This is definitely a good idea and may even improve performance a bit
