I have no good experience with electric guitars, but I'd try plugging it into your audio interface for your computer and then placing an audiotrack in the studio. Click the red circle next to it's name in the timeline, then select the correct input

I mean an audio interface. You can get some good ones for cheap that do the job

welp.. I don't have an audio interface. unless you mean directly into my PC? I only have an amp though I figured I might need a separate device as well if that's the case.

Might need to plug it through an amp first, then the amp to the interface
