in the middle of a project, the cables and devices quit working right. i can't reroute any existing cables or move any devices to another location on the desktop. the devices are frozen in place and when i hover over the cables, they become checkered. i'm not sure if this is a bug or if there is some feature that i accidentally enabled, but i would immensely appreciate any suggestions and/or support. thanks!

There used to be a "lock devices" option in the old Studio, but afaik it was removed in the new version. Click the desktop area once and press "1" on your keyboard to make sure that you're in Pointer mode. If you're in Cue or Hand mode, you can't move devices or cables.
