New Update reduced audio quality?

It might just be me, but while working on a project, the audio keeps crackling. As if the speakers can't handle it. This actually happened before the update where it would crackle and lag a bit, but it would stop after I refreshed. Now it's just doing it all the time, albeit without much lag. Is there a way to fix this or is this a bug?

    Either you are not aware of the booster either you have a really poor performance machine on your side.

      I was, but I thought I had already installed it when it first came out. I might have deleted it by accident. But it seems to be working okay now. Thanks!
