when i try to edit(not cut) the track when i go to edit another one i resets the edit

I believe you're somehow mixing up the "end of track"-marker, the "zoom region" and/or the "loop region" but I cannot tell from your description.

no lik say that a track of audio has a length of 24(1-25) and i try moving it to 9-24 when i click off of it the edit will restart
