With the next update, the remaining projects from the old Audiotool platform will be synced to the beta environment. This means that the last batch of legacy tracks will soon be available directly in beta where they can be opened and edited just like any other project.
The update is currently planned for next Monday, March 23.
As part of this process, projects that exist only in beta will be removed. If you have beta-only projects, please make sure to export and download your WAV files beforehand so you don’t lose your work.
If you’d like, you can also publish your WAV exports on Audiotool so we can add them to the album NEW STUDIO JAMS
By then, the 303 Contest entries will have already been exported and archived by us.
In the meantime, feel free to continue exploring and creating in the new Studio:

1. Have the ability for synths that you buy to be able to play their original sound on the Beta (I own a lot of Behringer equipment synths and drum machines that I like to play of of audiotool).
2. Have the ability to be able to click something on midi learn and the midi keyboard will do the same. (exp. If I am using a Pulveriser and want to route a volume or delay pedal, I can click midi learn, the touch the knob on the Pulveriser, and then turn a knob on my midi controller and it will do the same),
1. improving recording workflow is a big topic for us and we'd love to add midi output capabilities in the near future to allow sequencing real hardware from audiotool
2. this should be possible already if you own a controller! click on a knob and press 'Learn MIDI Controller'. Make sure to enable midi for the site though
Hey this shouldn't be. Could give us the Track ID (link of the beta project)? Does this happen to all of your samples from the legacy studio or just newer ones?
Is the update live? My projects from the beta studio were wiped, but none of my projects from the legacy studio were imported. Do I need to link the accounts somehow? Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong.
We understand that many of you feel attached to the legacy studio. A lot of people have been creating with it for years, so it’s completely natural to feel nostalgic about it.
The new studio is designed to expand what’s possible on Audiotool and to support many new features that weren’t feasible before. While the experience will change, our goal is to keep the creative spirit of Audiotool while making the platform more powerful and flexible for the future.
We appreciate everyone who has grown with the legacy studio and hope you’ll give the new one a chance once it fully releases
All tracks you started in the beta of the new studio (link is only visible to registered users) are beta projects. The update does not affect the tracks you created and published here, nor any unpublished drafts you created in the old studio.
I have some suggestions for you for the Beta.

2. Have the ability to be able to click something on midi learn and the midi keyboard will do the same. (exp.
