Hey I’m trying to find ways to make better bass growls and stabs. To give it more of a vowel sound. I know automating the LFO helps but does anyone get more in depth sound modulation by using certain wave tables maybe? Or automating certain efforts?

You can also use Bitcrusher with a lowpass filter sweep at high resonance for "yoy" and "yaaa"

You'll need to create some parametric EQ peaks at certain frequencies for different vowels. Something like this (link is only visible to registered users)

kill the LFO automations and use gain automations. It takes longer but it gives you more control over automating other things.
