    • cooking with naswalt: how to make ska-rock

On today's lesson we'll learn how to disappoint your parents, insult punk and collect all of the ambient "band kid" energy floating around the universe all in one step: make ska rock!

The drums are simple, just do the same double time rhythm and keep that snare T R A S H Y. See that resonant peak? Don't turn it down, turn it up!

The guitar is just funk without the "fun" :) isn't that great!? Just do the & of every beat on some super basic chords.

Bass is kinda cool aside from the fact that you're doing ska rock. I mean at least you're not playing...

THE HORNS, OH MY GOD WHY ARE THEY SO LOUD

sing about some vague social issue you don't have experience in and get really jealous of people who are cooler than you and now you have the perfect ska rock anthem

-music video is just me fighting for my life on the toilet-

    • lol one of these days I'll do a tutorial on a genre I obviously hate and just insult the viewer for 20 minutes

  • trap is too hard for me

    • I will only do easy-listening contemporary loungecore from here on out.

About to give the modern fitz and the tantrums a run for making the worst music possible :)
