This is an album I’ve put together for my capstone. It’s essentially a highlight reel of my work, starting with my first song. It doesn’t have everything I’ve done, just the ones I’m more proud of. My goal with my music is to eventually join a video game development company my friends are starting, and be part of the sound team. Maybe even the head of the sound team.

This album shows my progress on how I’ve improved over time. Quite a few of them are joke tracks, but they’re high quality joke tracks. I’m actually rather proud of a few of them. I’m proud not only because I did well on them, but I also created the cover art myself, and didn’t just yoink a picture off the internet.

-How do you expect people to react to your music?- I’m not sure how people will react to this, but that doesn’t really matter.

-How does this album relate to other songs you've written in the past?- The tracks in this album relate to tracks I’ve created because they ARE the tracks I’ve created in the past.

-What genre of music would you assign your music to?- I wouldn’t say all of them are the same genre. There’s fast paced EDM tracks, there’s slow, chill tracks, there’s video game music I’ve recreated, and there’s the memes.

-What musicians or artists influenced you in the creation of this music?- Mainly other people on Audiotool, whose tracks I’ve remixed in the past, learning how the devices work as I go.

-What is your philosophy surrounding the importance of music in society?- Music’s pretty important, it brings people together, helps heal psychological wounds, and generally makes people happier.

But the main thing here is this album. It contains my highlights over the past 4 or 5 years, and no, it doesn’t mean I’m leaving. Just doing my capstone project, so I can actually graduate from high school.
