Edition Audiotool: Apollo Euphoria

Total playing time: 0:40:56

Check out the great birthday compilation of our this week's featured artist @Apollo (Old) and be sure to support him by visiting and liking his feature on Audiotool Facebook:

"Note: I honestly don't think there were enough adjectives to describe all the tracks, and artists behind them, in this playlist. It's whatever though, each artist here deserves a feature as as well and then some. Audiotool has so many artists going unheard. That's the main reason why I created Genesis: to showcase and develop the talent of others.

Thank you to everyone who's supported me throughout the years and stuck with the evolution from my horrible music to what it is now.

And a special thanks a-records and for the birthday present! ^-^"

01. Taken by @Laidux (hiatus soon)

"I remember seeing matrix around and neglecting listening to his music. I don't know why to be honest; I regret that, because knowing him now, I think his upcoming works show his ability far transcends what we deem Audiotool to be capable of. In such a sense that you could easily compare him with Porter Robinson. Not only is his music powerful, he know's pretty well what he's doing. Not even I have reached a point where that's true for me, I just know a bit about music theory and throw some things together. Nonetheless, Simon has some pretty amazing music coming out soon you should really check it out! I just wish I knew him better as an artist."

02. Running from the Wind by @Xtraction

"There are just some artists on Audiotool that, unfortunately, don't get enough attention, despite how many followers they have. Perhaps they were forgotten, I dunno, but Xtraction shouldn't be one of those artists. His music is amazingly unique and inspiring. It takes an amazing artist to pull of what he does with minimal activity in the app too, it's pretty amazing what he's accomplished."

03. Tranquillity by @Zerod

"Zerod was one of the first Audiotoolers I actually interacted with. Looking back though, man, listening to what I heard of him first, you cold have never guessed where he'd be now. It just goes to show how important it is to support each other. As for this track, beautiful in itself, it just showcases his amazing talent and improvement as an artist. Zerod's music is excellent, powerful, inspiring, all of the above; but he's going through some rough sh*t in life right now and could use some more support. Just send him a good word whenever you can. I honestly can't wait for the Efflorescence EP."

04. OpΛque by @Orthrus

"If it weren't for Genesis, I probably would have never found Spartans. His style is so extremely unique it's uncanny. He definitely deserves more encouragement on behalf of his amazing music and personality. I can't thank him enough for helping me out with becoming a better producer. You just have to check him out because he has this supernatural skill of pulling amazing music from hat randomly."

05. Annihilate by @synthonix and @neo.

"Now, I've known Synthonix for quite a while. When he published Complextro [Urban-Contact Style] almost a year ago, I already heard his unharnessed potential. At the time, (when I had time) I did my best to increase his following early on by providing artwork and profile pictures to attract his audience and reflect his amazing work. And listen to him now. He pretty much, single-handedly controls the charts and has following from prominent Audiotoolers."

06. Lost In Time by @Dollavix

"I believe Dollavix is misunderstood on the part of the Audiotool community. He's a really talented artist and although he uses other explicit elements from other artist's tracks, he still manages to put his own little twist on his work. He's getting better and I believe that with a nudge in the right direction, he can become something great too."

07. 7/8 by @nico

"It was only recently that I heard TheAnonymousPineapple's works. Getting to know him better as an artists, we have quite a bit in common in terms of knowledge of music theory, (even though I think he knows much more than I do). This is a pretty good track on his part, nothing like I could make, of course."

08. Silence in Tokyo by @Kyba

"I haven't really had a chance to just sit down and listen to Audiotool music and find more artists, however, recently, joining in on a few rabbits in the past I was able to find this prodigy who has a ton of amazing works coming in the future. He deserves to be on this list more than I can say."

09. To Feel Alright (Feat.ENY) by @orcean and ENY

"This is simply a breathtaking track. I only recently heard this, but I'm no good with working with vocals, and I can sense the hard work put into this track. I can definitely see orcean going far with music and look forward to hearing his future work."

10. Ascension by @Armenix and @Pathfinder

"This has to be my favourite track on Audiotool. It's exceptionally professional, inspiring, and altogether amazing. I can't say enough about all these tracks and artists but I had to end off the playlist with this track."

Recommended Artist: @mirai

It was difficult to come to an honest conclusion of who deserves the most to be recommended, I almost didn't choose anyone at all, just to say there's really no one that doesn't deserve to hold this spot. However, Mirai is an incredible, young, aspiring producer that has so much to offer. His music just keeps progressing in the right direction. Although he's been releasing some tracks he's released in FL Studio recently, I'll always know him for tracks like these. This track in particular helped me keep going in times when I didn't think I'd amount to anything, in life and in music. I can't stress enough how unbelievably his music is, you just have to hear it for yourself. This kid is going places, trust me. Well, what are you waiting for? Go follow him!

Favourite Track of his own

12. Divinity by @Apollo (Old)

"I find it amazing how I usually tend to structure my tracks with music theory, yet this track of mine came out with little to no knowledge of that. I did my best to give it a feeling of ascension and the theory I did end up using in it only helped me figure out where to go, not where to start, the complex chord progression you hear at the beginning of the track is basically what I started with initially. I ended up diverging from there, adding melodies with solely chord tones I didn't even know I was capable of. As a result, to date, I believe this is my best track and my favourite. I would have never thought I would be able to make music like this a year ago. I can't wait to see what I come up with in the future."
