  • oh so you mean this program is garbage

    • hey turdsandwich: its free.

by the way: limitations inspire you to be more creative. what they do is take away some of the choices available to us, and with them, the "paralysis of choice" that stops us from getting started. (just so you know i'm not just talking out of my ass: I've been a professional artist for 20 years in the motion graphics industry. i have to be creative every day and the only way to do that is to first jump in head first and start creating. second: embrace the limitations that have been set forth by the client or the software you're working with. doing that forces you into a problem solving state of mind. you are forced to find creative, innovative ways to get what you want.

  • Don't forget to chop your mixdown / stems in 30 seconds long sections. That's the upload limit for a single sample.

  • The recording features of audiotool currently is very limited. You can record your instruments with e.g. Audacity (https://www.audacityteam.org/), import the mixdown / stems into audiotool (via "import sample").
