its a good place to start from since i think the space and pulv are even more confusing, i will give you the most important things you need to know about hiesen.
1- there are 4 waves used and you can adjust how they look, each one has a different sound and might be used in different scenarios, a simple sine wave would be a good place to start experimenting.
2- there is this box in the bottom right that has a white dot that you can move which moves an eq like filter with it, this filter lets you control which portions of the sound you want to make apparent and which ones do you not based on the high ends or low ends of it.
3- at the top you will see tune which i dont recommend you mess with for the time being (keep it at 0), and the ""glide"", and the ""unisono"".
""glide"" is how long it takes for the sound to change the note (putting it at 300ms means it takes 300ms to for the sound to go from lets say A to C).
""unisono"" is the fun part, putting it at 1 makes the sound more direct and apparent as if its being played infront of you, 2 will make it a little wider and so on; the unison can be controlled via 2 nobs next to it called detune and spread, playing with detune while playing a sound would make it easier for you to understand but basically it makes the sound shake the more you higher it, and spread does exactly what it says, it spreads the sound wider and wider the closer it is to the zero.
4- i recommend using different presets and playing around the sounds and understanding what they do, give it a month of actual trial and error and you'll be pretty good.
hope that helps.
