I have a Zoom R8 that can be used as a DAW control surface. I have it connected through USB to the computer and both Flash and Next recognise it and list it as a device in the MIDI Setup Screen. Next even shows the corresponding incoming MIDI messages when I move any control on it. But when using "Autolearn" on Flash or "Learn MIDI controller" in Next, the controls don't react to control movements on the R8. The R8 is using Mackie Control (HUI MIDI mapping protocol) to transmit messages. Is there anything I can do to make it work? I'd like to use the R8 faders to control the Centroid.
