I have a Mac in which I am trying to use the Booster to help Audiotool run better. I am able to install it succesfully it seems, but when I follow the instructions on this page ((link is only visible to registered users)), including opening the Booster app through the context menu, Audiotool does not recognize that it's installed and the Worklet still appears at the bottom of the page instead of Booster.
"Re installing AUdiotool Booster not the Audiotool"
and
"You can literally see audiotool's boosters components in the file's page, meaning that if you can extract it, you can edit the files, which will update."
For anyone who is using a Macbook (or a Mac) with any of the M Series, the Audiotool Booster may not work. This is an issue I've also had, and it seems like multiple people who also have an M Series device are having the same problem.
The strange thing about that is that the booster does not stay running after I launch it. By looking at the dock, it just jumps a few times before vanishing. It does not have the white dot that is typically seen for applications that are running. This occurs even after the few attempts I have reinstalled the software.
To fix the issue with Audiotool not recognizing Booster on your Mac, try these steps:
1. **Check Permissions**: Go to `System Preferences > Security & Privacy` and make sure Booster has the necessary permissions (like Accessibility).
2. **Reinstall**: Try reinstalling both Audiotool and Booster and make sure they can communicate with each other.
3. **Update**: Ensure you're using the latest versions of both Audiotool and Booster.
4. **Restart**: After installing, restart both apps to make sure everything’s set up properly.
5. **Try Another Browser**: Switch to a different browser or clear the cache in your current one to see if Audiotool picks up Booster.
6. **Disable Other Apps**: Turn off any other apps or extensions that might be causing issues.
7. **Check Settings**: Look through Audiotool's settings to make sure Booster is enabled.
8. **Look for Errors**: Use the Console app on your Mac to check for any error messages that might explain what's going wrong.
If it still doesn't work, consider reaching out to Audiotool support or checking forums for more help.
