VST Bridge
The new VST Bridge brings generic VST3 plugin support to Studio. You can finally bring your favourite third-party plugins into your Audiotool projects.
Micro Tuning
You can now change the base frequency of the project and create different tunings for devices. This opens up alternative tuning systems and fine-tuning across your setup.
Cable Colours
You can now change the colours of your cables to help with visually navigating the routing in Studio. Especially useful in larger patches where signal flow can get hard to follow at a glance.
Step-Range Copy/Paste (Machiniste & Patterns)
Pattern copy/paste behaviour has been improved, and you can now copy and paste pattern pages (step-ranges) with full shortcut support. Faster pattern building, less repetitive clicking.
Mixer Improvements
The mixer now has a horizontal scrollbar for projects with many channels. Strips can be renamed by double-clicking the header, grouped and un-grouped via the context menu, and multi-select has been improved so most actions can be applied to a selection of strips rather than just one. Bouncing also works across multiple selected strips now.
Audio Engine
Updated engine and Booster to version 0.5.8, and VST Bridge to version 1.1.0
The Stagebox lets you set up FX inserts that can be used as send effects on each channel strip in the mixer. And since you can create as many FX inserts as you want (as far as I tried) you can basically give every single channel strip its own dedicated effects chain.
yup! i was able to use Q3 AND a UA tape emulation plugin through audiotool on Apple Silicon. gonna push the limits to see what i can do in terms of vocals now
I wasn’t referring to loading a plugin. We have seen issues with Serum 2 being inside the plugin folder and the VST Bridge crashing on startup on Windows. I was wondering if it’s a similar thing on Linux.
I’ll get you a Grammy and billboard top 10 chart with you just trust me
