VST Bridge
The new VST Bridge brings generic VST3 plugin support to Studio. You can finally bring your favourite third-party plugins into your Audiotool projects.
Micro Tuning
You can now change the base frequency of the project and create different tunings for devices. This opens up alternative tuning systems and fine-tuning across your setup.
Cable Colours
You can now change the colours of your cables to help with visually navigating the routing in Studio. Especially useful in larger patches where signal flow can get hard to follow at a glance.
Step-Range Copy/Paste (Machiniste & Patterns)
Pattern copy/paste behaviour has been improved, and you can now copy and paste pattern pages (step-ranges) with full shortcut support. Faster pattern building, less repetitive clicking.
Mixer Improvements
The mixer now has a horizontal scrollbar for projects with many channels. Strips can be renamed by double-clicking the header, grouped and un-grouped via the context menu, and multi-select has been improved so most actions can be applied to a selection of strips rather than just one. Bouncing also works across multiple selected strips now.
Audio Engine
Updated engine and Booster to version 0.5.8, and VST Bridge to version 1.1.0
@Dudios
sounds very good. would be great if you could share your result here or via feedback form. best the latter. even if it's not a final state or you dont know all details. knowing which ones work and which ones dont helps us a lot. dont forget to mention the os you use.
I’ve kinda fixed it. The VST bridge is having a hard time compiling some of the plugins I have, so the VST bridge would crash. I’m still trying to identify all the plugins that are giving it problems
I have like a billion BORROWED vsts (friends share licenses. not pirated) VSTs and they seem to not work. it just crashes the vst link lmao. probably too much for it to handle
To all in the AT team, putting in the time, and effort on making AT better. Respect to all of you guys, but, I'm concerned. So much so, that I feel I need to say this, and hope that the AT Team reads this message. There's a transition happening in the Social community for AT. I'm slowly watching a lot of pro's in AT, fade away, disappear. WHERE DID ALL THE PRO'S GO? This major update for AT needs to happen, like soon. I think AT, has already lost a lot of players, good sounding pro's. I could be wrong, but, if sure feels like, by the time AT officially launches the new AT, it will be too late, and they'll have lost a lot of pro level producers. Seriously...I used to have friends that I could talk to and relate too...For 1 being around my age, and 2 they know how to sound like pro's. ALL I SEE...these days in the Social community, is YOUTH. I mean YOUTH, EVERWHERE!!! I know they're the next gen for producers, but lets face it, most of em, just don't know what they're really doing. Unclean, poor quality loudness/sound, unnaturally distorted basses and basslines that are trying blow someone's speakers. That's if they can get their track loud enough. Most of them don't know how I guess. A lot of them, just won't listen to anyone for help or tips. I don't know....I'm not speaking about anyone in particular, but, we are losing a lot of quality producers. Sad part is....I'm about to be one of them. Not cool.
Not to mention....for all those in YOUTH, that are still stuck in the Stone Age,with this old AT version, all you need to wake up, and realize that these changes are gonna happen. I feel like most of em aren't gonna have a clue of what to do, when the new AT officially launches. Which will also lead to losing some in the AT community. Honestly though, this update has to happen. Once finished and officially launched, that will be the day that AT will finally be able to match up to all the Professional DAWS!!!
ive dreamt for this day
