Everyone has only one vote, so think carefully about who you want to support.
Let’s keep it fair, fam—vote honestly!
What it's about:
Hey everyone!
We’re kicking off our Featured Artist summer break with something special – your chance to choose the next three Featured Artists straight from the community!
Here’s how it works:
Nominate your favorite artist in the comments below by Monday, August 4.
After that, we’ll contact the nominees to see if they’re in.
To take part, they’ll need to:
put together a 6-track Audiotool album
be up for a short interview
and send us a portrait photo
Then, on August 7, the voting begins! For this we will invite you to a voting form.
We’re spotlighting the top 3 winners – in order of placement, not only one.
This time, you can nominate any artist who hasn’t been part of this current Edition round yet so feel free to pick someone newer, or an established artist who hasn’t appeared in this round so far.
I can see the debate amongst the idea of the top 3 not mainly using AT as intended, ngl i love these guys because these are some of the last pioneers that are still active continuously on Site. But i do understand the concerns and i feel like there should be some common sense into this. Firstly, if we are gonna use songs that arent really made in this website, maybe publish a 10 second teaser and a link to the track somehwere else which deserves more traction. But ive been also noticing that a lot of you clearly overdue it too much to the point i get fooled many many times thinking i can learn from the tracks with such amazing audio design, just to find out its all samples. You guys deserve the top 3 since its clearly audience based, but truly from the bottom of my heart to everyone who clearly does this, theres other ways to put your creative work out there that isnt audiotool founded. I love you guys, just trying to keep it real. These tools are meant to be used and audiotool WANTS people to use them and push the limits of these tools they been perfecting for almost a decade. I suggest for everyone to start breaking out of that habit and start pushing the limits and connect with each other more through these means. Love yall
I clealry used to do it, i think if you do it a couple times is fine but its a little misleading where its over 20+ tracks that arent AT made. But thats why i hence to stop an learned the situation other than that, LOVE YALL BROSKIES
And this is coming from me, i still believe i havent pushed the boundaries of audiotool in any shape or form, but im still trying to do things that can revolutionize ideas and potentiality for people to be more excited and creative on their works. I clearly hevant reached that goal as of right now, but this motivation that i have for this to come true makes me want to continue being on this site
To me you are all good artists let's keep the tracking going. All of you guys putting out some good music don't stop, i have a 3-week-old kitten i'm going to make a track after him and his name is little dude.
after listening to the winners and seeing that some of them don't even use Audiotool LIKE THAT (y'know), i think it's clear that these are the results of a skewed demographic. Like, if all the classic audiotoolers from over the history of AT were still here repping the site hardcore, these results would be way different. like, this isn't about me, we can make other shit about me lol -- i probably still would've had a very low chance of winning in that scenario
but we all know the results would be *based on something else*, and we all know why it isn't like that these days, so i'm not super pissed or anything i'm just saying/venting that this definitely brings the point home about how AT is kind of... echo-chamber-y. idk.
