For many of us, this transition is more than just an update. Even for some members of the team, NEXT has been the version of Audiotool that stayed with them the longest, and we don’t want to let this moment pass without capturing it somehow.
Let’s collect some of those thoughts and memories in musical form: instrumental, experimental, emotional, with or without lyrics. Whatever NEXT means to you.
Please post your tracks to the
@a-records
wall or under the latest board post about the project, but not here in this thread.
Maybe we can instead use this space to share a few anecdotes, memories, or talk about the tracks that become part of this farewell album.
When I was in my Junior year of high school, I had a heavily underfunded computer science class that I was in and the teacher ran out of stuff to teach because we only had this tiny outdated computer lab with no software on the PCs. So she saw that I was spending all of my time making music on audiotool and asked if I could make a lesson on it for the class.
Granted, I was making trash at the time and had no idea what a phaser actually did... But I agreed. That was still the flash version :)
