Edition Audiotool: archives/Audiotool Hits

Total playing time: 0:49:18

This week's featured artist and compilation series colleague @archives aka @Audiotool Hits put together this varied Top 10 album for us. Check out the interview on our Facebook as well:

1. quiet life by @swrlly

"Clu is probably my biggest musical inspiration, ever. When I joined Audiotool, I remember his 200th track was one of the popular songs at the time and I loved it. After exploring more music by Clu, Quiet Life is my favorite. It’s super chill and arguably one of Audiotool’s best first tracks. This is what most of my newer tracks are inspired by, and the percussion is outstanding. A great track to unwind too."

2. Last Minut35 - Down the street by @Last Minut35

"My favorite track from one of the nicest people I’ve met on here. I love the melody of the track at 1:43 and something about the song feels motivational. Overall it’s just a great track. I definitely recommend it."

3. technicolor//mountains (S p o t s & oceanic) by @NEW ACCOUNT @fli

One of the two super underrated artists I featured, Oceanic is crazy talented and people really need to check him out. I love the simplicity of this track, but it still is so intriguing and beautiful. Be sure to check out his new account as well - @fli .

4. Delta Phi by @looks

"Luxior is the gold of the Audiotool community. My favorite from him is Delta Phi. This song is so diverse and detailed. I love how the song changes directions ( specifically at 1:58 ). I guarantee you will be satisfied after listening. This just turned 2 years old too! I can’t believe it’s been that long!"

5. I still think about you all the time. (and it kills me) by @Lewi Astro

"This song is so beautiful and expressive. It’s one of the most emotional songs and you can feel the pain Lewi was going through when you listen to this. I love every five minutes and thirty seconds of this beautiful song. And shoutout to @xeryph for the DL link!"

6. SUMMER NIGHTS by @Tim Derry

"My summer jam! It can bring a smile to anyone’s face. Tim has mastered Tropical House, and in my opinion this is his best. The vocal chops and piano are perfect. A great song to get up and dance!"

7. Sexy Time with Lux and Kav by @kav feat @looks

"Luxior and Kavil get sexy with this jazzy track! But, being serious this song is nice. The chords are so juicy and the drum patterns are amazing. This song probably doesn’t get as much love as it would if it had a more serious title, so if you haven’t already, give this song a listen. You’ll be satisfied."

8. Evangeline the Oyster Girl by @The Seahorse

"This is not what you normally hear from The Seahorse. I love how it is not unhappy. My favorite part of this track is the percussion. You can tell how much work was put into this song. I recommend giving a listen."

9. You're No Fun by @sadface

"A classic. I am not a fan of Dubstep, unless it’s this song. SadfaCe hasn’t been active recently, but I really wish he was. Anyways, the bass on this is so crazy, and it has a real catchy melody. I didn’t always like this song but it has definitely grown on me."

10. conveyor by Opaqity

"It’s hard to describe Opaqity’s music. All of it is so unique and beautiful! Conveyer stands out because it’s more upbeat. I have this song downloaded and I listen to it every day. It’s relaxing but it can also pump you up. Something most tracks can’t do."

Artist Recommendation: @radioactive octopus

Radioactive Octopus is so underrated. I’m so glad I had the chance to work with him through @Cüs Lan . He has taught me so much about Audiotool and is one of the reasons why I still produce. Check out his tracks.

11. Rough Waters by @radioactive octopus

"Rough Waters such a good song that people don’t appreciate. A track this good shouldn’t have 14 likes! Please drop a like on this track. It deserves it."

Favorite track of his own

12. A C C I D E N T by @archives

"This was my returning track after leaving Audiotool for a month. I like how it turned out. This is probably the track I’ve put the most time and work into. The bass is probably the best bass I’ve ever made and I like how the percussion turned out. I hope you like it! :)"
