The Untitled Collection

I've decided to group these drafts together in an "album". ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So to give some context as to why I've really done this, I just felt like it might be a good idea to kind of explain some stuff with these drafts of mine that I've put out. You know, like the emotion put into/portrayed by the tracks, that kind of thing. If you have any questions about anything, feel free to ask. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 01. "The Shift" - So, this track was meant to kind of mark a period of transitioning....I was back after a little bit of a break if that's what you want to call it. I really wanted to make something interesting, something that would draw people in I guess, if that makes anysense. I don't know, it's something along those lines at least. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 02. "Aggression" - This was a track I made at around midnight, or getting close to midnight, something like that. Had a lot on my mind, was generally in a dark place. There was just a lot going on around this time period. There's another track that's hidden I made during the same night or at least around the same time frame, day ways, that expressed much more of a calmer tone than this one, but you know. Just one of those things. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 03. "Inspiration" - I was in a bit of a creative slump before I made this. Wasn't really doing too good mentally at the time either due to some stuff that had been going on generally. You'll see that as a generally common theme if you look into most of my tracks I put out, lol. Anyways, I was listening through some tracks people had published, then I came across my good ole buddy @youllnevergetmyusernamefromhere 's page again and I don't know, I just really love his stuff he puts out. Always helps me feel inspired, but especially this time, so you know. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 04. "Sleep Deprivation" - This is another one of those tracks that came out of a lack of sleep and general frustration with things that had been going on at the time. For this general time period I've been putting out tracks, I have had a lot going on, so I've been using music to really uhhh.....Not escape it. Deal with it? I guess that's about right. Lots of stress, I was transitioning to online school from the time period between 3 and 5. That and the bottom of our house flooded, that caused a lot of problems, and I won't even get into the full effect of it, lol. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5. "Oops" - I actually didn't really mean to post this initially, I was going to keep it in my drafts and work on it some more before publishing it, but I guess I accidentally pressed publish instead of save, so you know. But I mean, it's not too bad or anything. This track was one I put out while feeling relatively uninspired, or something along those lines at least. I wasn't feeling very motivated I guess. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 06. "Retro" - I like to think of this one as more of a tribute to the kind of sound I was really trying to go for before I was forced into that "break" where I wasn't really able to work on much. Or something like that. I don't know, I just wanted to put out something a little more generic I guess, lol. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 07. "Thirteenth" - I put this out on Friday the 13th, which is always a day of great luck in my family despite it supposedly being one of the unluckiest day for most people. I don't know, this wasn't very well fleshed out, I'm going to definitely work on this more over time. I'm really thinking about going back and remixing all of my stuff to turn them into fully fleshed out tracks once I've got a more powerful system to use.
