Featured artist #161
erthboy's approach is bass, because that's his element. Still known to many of the OGs under his former name ANK, he has been part of the Audiotool community for an impressive 15 years. During this time, he has consistently brightened our days with punchy beats and gritty basslines while steadily refining his signature sound. It's definitely time to dedicate a proper feature to him and take a closer look at his journey. At the latest since his placement at Audiotool Day 25, one thing has been clear: he's not here to play games.

During this time, he has consistently brightened our days with punchy beats and gritty basslines while steadily refining his signature sound. At the latest since his placement at Audiotool Day 25, one thing has been clear: he's not here to play games.

escapiistt
Andrew (evamoth)2025evamoth's body of work so far refuses to be categorized. What ties this remarkably diverse collection of music together is its originality and unmistakable edge. There's simply no room for boredom; instead, the sound pulls you straight into the mental escape the name itself promises. At the same time, Escapiist is deeply woven into our community, something you can feel in the sheer number of collaboration tracks and the ever-shifting lineup of creative partners. With all this in mind, it's no exaggeration to call Escapiist the embodiment of the contemporary Audiotool artist.

Alckhem
Alckhem2025Whether there were tracks before that is unknown, but looking back through Alckhem's tracklist, you'll find that 14 years and one day ago (counting from the publication date of this post) he released his very first track on Audiotool. A lot has happened since then: he has long outgrown his high-school years, and his music has grown up with him. While you could still hear the talented beginner in his early work, today he delivers DJ-set-ready, deep techno and house tunes that skillfully balance depth and dance-floor energy. A musical journey well worth exploring, not only for fans of the genre.

Snowfire
Snowfire2025Snowfire crafts experimental ambient soundscapes that spark unsettling, vivid visions in your mind. Subtle layers of distortion and the faint crackle of intentional artifacts give his music a haunting depth, an unmistakable signature across all of his work. Over his eight years on Audiotool, he has built a catalog that feels like a forgotten archive of strange transmissions, perfect for filmmakers and game creators working in surreal science fiction or psychological horror. He's a genuinely distinctive artist whose work is well worth exploring.

Chonoes
Chonoes2025Chonoes doesn't take prisoners. If you prefer things soft and neatly pressed, you'd better turn around – or learn to appreciate that things get wild here. But this isn't just hard-hitting. It's playful, direct, and fiercely creative. Chonoes comes from a real Audiotool dynasty — a young veteran who's been part of the scene for more than nine years now. Where others play it safe, he dives headfirst into the unknown. Fearless, experimental, and unapologetically original.

@elow
Elijah Faust2025@elow took third place in our People's Choice Featured Artist voting. His sound spans the full range of contemporary popular music — often noisy, sometimes melodic, always distinctive. With a mix of experimental textures and a clear sense for structure and mood, his tracks stand out through both energy and detail. A great journey from a bit of a handful to one of the leading voices of his Audiotool generation. Congratulations on a well-earned third place, @elow!

itxmi
Noah Cheng2025noah, whom many still know under the name Noah, is undoubtedly one of the top players among the younger generation of Audiotoolers. It's no coincidence that he led the high rankings of the voting for a long time, only to be displaced from the top position in the end by a smart marketing coup. His music is an electrifying blend of contemporary trap variations, bursting with creativity and an undeniable energy that hooks listeners instantly. His productions are consistently top-notch, showcasing an impeccable sense for beats that truly hit hard. Congratulations on a well-deserved silver medal!

volen
Camden Parsons2025Volen is a hidden gem on Audiotool, quietly making waves with a unique blend of experimental sounds and bass-driven music. As the winner of the People's Choice Featured Artist voting, it's clear that his talent is starting to get the recognition it deserves. Volen's tracks are always an interesting journey, full of creativity and fresh ideas. If you haven't checked out his work yet, now's the perfect time to dive in. Congratulations on taking first place.

atelier
Jack2025Atelier may not have an extensive collection of tracks in its Audiotool portfolio, at least not visibly, but the ones it does have are nothing short of extraordinary. From hard-hitting, wall-of-sound indie guitar tracks to heartbreakingly raw, experimental synth soundscapes, Atelier unfailingly creates a distinct atmosphere with every single piece. Two immediate connections to the film industry come to mind: Terrence Malick, who has directed only ten films in 50 years—all of them masterpieces. And secondly, every A24 director would undoubtedly be clamoring for this playlist to feature in their next film.

Batoune & The Brewers
Baptiste2025Batoune & The Brewers has earned something close to legendary status on Audiotool in a surprisingly short time. That may be partly due to the original and catchy name — but more importantly, it's thanks to the infectious, pop-tinged fusion of funky house and electro. With an obvious soft spot for synths, beards, cats, and of course, beer, he brings a signature vibe to every release. His tracks are consistently danceable, professionally produced with clean mixing, and radiate a distinctly positive energy. We're looking forward to more!

BioL!nk
João Eira2025Get ready to discover a hidden gem on Audiotool! BioL!nk is an incredibly underrated artist whose exceptional talent deserves way more attention. His music spans a dynamic range from raw, authentic drum and bass to house and techno, delivering tracks that are tailor-made for the dancefloor. If BioL!nk isn't on your radar yet, we strongly urge you to change that—you're in for a treat.

Sub4sax
Dragan Usović2025Get ready to move with Sub4sax, a master of EDM who knows how to light up any party. Known for his high-energy house tracks, he brings nonstop beats that keep the crowd moving all night long. Sub4sax has made a name for himself with tracks that are all about fun and pure energy, creating the perfect vibe for unforgettable nights. His iconic collaborations with Vulkron show off his versatility, but his solo tracks hit just as hard, proving his creativity and range. Sub4sax's music is your ticket to losing yourself on the dancefloor, with every beat and drop designed to keep the energy going. If you're after tracks that set the ultimate party mood, Sub4sax has you covered every time.

Head Trauma Romance
Alex Blair2025Head Trauma Romance is one of the more club-oriented artists in the Audiotool EDM scene. His music is straightforward, danceable, and true to itself. He builds one dancefloor-ready track after another. His sound feels made for vinyl—modern but aware of the roots. A testament to this is his track's release on the Vinyl EP ATD24 TOP 6, the exclusive vinyl for the Audiotool Day contest, where it proudly secured second place. Although based in the USA, his style often leans towards the British EDM and bass music scene, blending influences seamlessly.

virux
Jair B.2025"What if thrash metal was chiptune?" A motto that packs a punch and is definitely not for the faint-hearted. Even during his time in the bass music genre, it was clear there was a knack for intense hardness, with the occasional heavy riff sneaking into the gritty dubstep tracks. Frequently interrupted by experimental dives into other genres like ambient, soundtrack, and EDM, the mechanical beats gradually evolved into more traditional heavy metal drum sets over the years. Now, virux is one of the most prominent representatives of the rock-oriented scene on Audiotool and still takes no prisoners. Whether in a festival mosh pit or strengthening your neck muscles at home in front of your laptop, virux definitely hits the nerve of the headbanging crowd.

ryzenn AKA taiko!
Daniel2025If you check out taiko!'s tracklist, it's pretty clear this is an artist who refuses to stick to just one sound. While trap and its variations are at the core of his music, he pulls in influences from all kinds of genres to shape his unique style. He's always evolving, mixing things up, and finding fresh ways to stand out in any genre he dives into. His tracks feel new and exciting but still have that signature ryzenn vibe. Every project builds on what he's done before while also breaking new ground. It's this blend of consistency and innovation that keeps ryzenn one step ahead and always worth listening to.

anodyne
anodyne (Hurakan)2025anodyne, previously known as Hurakan, began his Audiotool journey crafting incredible atmospheric Synthwave, pulling listeners in with immersive soundscapes and emotional depth. Now, he's leveling up, focusing on his skills as an indie inspired singer-songwriter, blending introspective lyrics with rich melodies. While evolving his sound, he stays true to his roots, delivering breathtaking ambient and experimental tracks. His artistic growth is inspiring, leaving a unique mark on the Audiotool community.

Le Voile
Le Voile (Zir0h)2025Le Voile started her musical journey 12 years ago on Audiotool as a teenager, where she first showed off her raw talent and natural feel for music. Back then, she went by the name 'zir0h,' experimenting with sounds and shaping her unique style. Over time, she's grown into a confident, dynamic artist, creating bass-heavy, danceable EDM tracks that keep listeners hooked. Inspired by mainstream styles, she adds her own bold, edgy twist that sets her apart. Le Voile is such a great addition to the community, and we can't wait to see what's next!

althruist
althruist2025If you ask AI about the extra "h" in althruist it comes up with an interesting theory: *Alt* could signify alternative perspectives, alternative music, or countercultural ideas. *Thru* might represent going "through" something—be it emotions, struggles, or life's journeys. For those unfamiliar, an altruist is someone who selflessly puts the well-being and needs of others above their own. Whether the artist intentionally crafted this wordplay is unclear. What is clear, however, is that he embodies the spirit of altruism—approachable, generous, and deeply connected with our community. His music is not only alternative but also strikingly unconventional and unique. This brings us back to "Alt." He is on a shared journey with us, one that began "Thru" music four years ago and, hopefully, will continue for many more. Because altruists are exactly what the world needs. And if they also create exceptional music like his, then the future's looking pretty bright.

Uzeh
Uzeh2025We're kicking off a new season of our 'Featured Artist' series with Uzeh, a key figure in our trap community. Uzeh's consistent production output and dedication to refining her craft have made her an indispensable part of our scene. Her versatility shines as she seamlessly explores both emerging and classic subgenres, continually pushing creative boundaries. We're happy to begin this new round by spotlighting Uzeh and the remarkable contributions she brings to our community.

Kurp
Kurp2023Kurp undeniably stands as an artist who has discovered his distinctive style over the course of his eight years on Audiotool, and it's truly remarkable. His subtle use of the waveshaper to delicately graze his pads is a trademark Kurp technique, infusing his tracks with an unmistakable atmospheric richness. His music, with its organic and analog feel, works harmoniously with industrial-ish Techno rhythms, crying pads, and hypnotic arpeggios. This combination creates a captivating sonic experience that blends technical expertise, profound musical comprehension, and heartfelt emotion. For good reason Kurp is considered one of the record holders when it comes to visualized track features. His music is just perfect for overlaying unsettling, psychoactive visuals. [Editor's note: 622 tracks. WTH?]

Civility
Justin Starks2023With Civility we welcome another great singer-songwriter on board of our highly talented featured artist forge. His across-the-board sensitive, magnificently composed indie songs go straight to the ear and heart, which is due in no small part to his outstanding unobtrusive voice and composition skills. He doesn't belong to artists with a particularly high output rate, but when he delivers, it's always to the point and shows powerful emotional depth. Don't miss out on exploring his music.

Amp7070
Nathan Cook2023After writing over 150 texts for our featured artists, I've reached the point where I sometimes wonder if the word 'unique' should even be used so frequently and whether it can truly apply to so many musicians. And then I look at the list and see Amp7070, and all doubts are dispelled. We have so many unique musicians, and we can be proud of that. Amp7070 describes himself as genre phobic, and his playful mix of melancholic beauty and whimsical humor is truly difficult to classify within a specific style. However, it's hard not to feel the enthusiasm and (yes!) uniqueness of the early Indie and New Wave scene in his voice and compositions, when music was meant to break down genre barriers instead of conforming to them. For those who enjoy being surprised and can appreciate raw talent, joy in distinct music, and whimsical everyday stories, Amp7070 is highly recommendable.

retro
Jonas2023Retro is one of our inconspicuous heroes. His tracks bear witness to immense musicality and advanced know-how. In addition to all the technical finesse, his music also exudes liveliness and a funky freshness that is simply fun to listen to. His "Artblock" and "Dead Drafts" series suggest what his drafts hide and want to come to the surface, and makes each of us long for a creative block if those are the results. He is one of the greats, and we're glad it has finally worked out. Come by for a coffee sometime if you are ever downtown.

mxcii
Luis Galán2023We are pleased to introduce mxcii as the 150th featured artist of the second generation. At the latest, since his victory at Audiotool Day 22, it should be clear what kind of talent we're dealing with here. With his crystal-clearly produced, complex drum and bass pieces, he's not only at the forefront of this own genre on Audiotool. In his seven years of membership, he certainly hasn't had the highest output of all, but one that is always of very high quality, and that's been the case from the very beginning. So we can be curious about what comes next. I'm sure it will be good.

WPX
Otto Montgomery2023WPX is an exemplary figure in the diverse and boundary-pushing world of Audiotool musicians. Masterfully his music merges seemingly opposing styles and elements to create a sound that is both unexpected and unconventional - experimental yet funky, fresh yet classic, old-school yet brand new and, despite its minimalistic approach, WPX's music is incredibly complex and rich in detail. Unsurprisingly, "ANALOG" is WPX's only descriptive artist tag. With such a broad range, I wouldn't want to restrict myself, either. With this feature as a clear invitation, there's no better time to explore WPX's unique and forward-thinking artistry. For any musician, encountering his work is sure to evoke a sense of awe and inspiration. Check out this Auditoool master of fusion.

Kepz
Kepz (Kooscha)2023Kepz's story is a pleasure to tell: as a young teenager, he stumbled upon Audiotool and played a significant role in shaping its early years alongside the first generation of users. Over time, he matured musically from producing playful Trance and Melodic House anthems to crafting a chillier, deeper Dub Techno and Deep House sound. Although still so young, he won the Moog Fest Contest and travelled from Sydney to the USA to play a DJ set at the renowned festival. As Kepz continued to grow as an artist, he began playing at parties and enjoyed numerous releases on various Dub Techno labels. In 2022, he made a deep impression on us when he applied for the developer position we advertised. And now, at the beginning of 2023, Kepz has undertaken his second-long journey in the service of Audiotool. He's come to our Audiotool Basement in Cologne to support us in taking the next important step. But before I reveal too much, read on to discover how the story unfolded from his perspective.

Siren
SIREN2023Siren's last track on Audiotool may have been a while ago, but that's no reason not to look closer at his work. His Bass-Music-inspired Hip Hop and Drum and Bass have always exhibited a high degree of professional coolness. It was not least this characteristic trait, but also the great chemistry between the three, that enabled him, in collaboration with Icebox and dcln, to bring home the victory for Audiotool in the Collaborative Music Contest 2021. His Insta videos also showcase that we're dealing with a cool cat with a wide range of remarkable skills and entertainment value.

JayFK
Jens2023JayFK has been killing it since dropping his first track just a year ago. With 86 more under his belt, it's clear that he's no amateur. Whether Deep House or Techno, Jay's tracks always bring an authentic vibe to get the crowd moving. And his downtempo stuff? Pure atmospheric bliss that proves he's got skills for days. Keep an eye on this one - big things are coming.

voyd
Emre Girginkaya2023Voyd, alongside VLTRA and Sila, is undoubtedly a standout member of the Audiotool Lo-Fi community. For six years, he has captivated audiences with his scratchy and laid-back sound creations, always exhibiting a calm and understated demeanour, much like his presence within the community. It's time to give a well-deserved nod to the one who truly deserves recognition. As you may be aware, a devastating earthquake struck Turkey and Syria recently. Emre, a resident of Turkey, has asked for your support in using his status as an Audiotool Featured Artists artist to bring attention to this tragedy. So now we are asking you, on behalf of Emre, if possible, to donate to aid the victims of this disaster.

Xavi
Xavi2022Just in time for Christmas, we're bringing Xavi back, who left Audiotool a few years ago to try his luck in the music business. We want to get to the bottom of this: how has he been doing in the meantime? What has worked and what hasn't? What could he take with him from Audiotool, and what does he maybe even miss? We thank you - xavrockbeats - for telling the new generation of Audiotoolers about your experience. And we wish you continued success on your way to becoming a star DJ and producer, which you undoubtedly deserve.

etterath
Cherry2022Whether you're a fan of dark and introspective music or only appreciate great art and talent, our new featured artist, etterath, is worth checking out. Her music is sure to leave a lasting impression on anyone who takes the time to listen. The mixture of darkness, artistic skill and cheerful bombast in etterath's music will take you on an unforgettable journey through sound. She also created the thread 'Slept On (Underrated)' on our board, where users can share Audiotool tracks that they feel are underrated. This thread has become one of the longest-lasting on our board and demonstrates etterath's love for music beyond her creations. Thanks for that.

andy
Andy2022Andy is, without exaggeration, one of the great vocalists of Audiotool. He is not afraid to use his Pop Music-oriented timbre for more lo-fi, experimental sound structures. The tension that this mixture of easy listening and complexity creates sets his work apart from the uniformity of the contemporary Pop landscape and makes him unique on Audiotool. We sincerely hope he will get over his "creative break" soon because he still owes us a vocal recording with the prize won in the Summer Song Contest - an award he fully deserved. Come on, Andy!

Call Me Lito
2022Call Me Lito is a hit machine. If you were to download all his music and put it in a playlist, you'd have a set that would freak out a festival crowd. Just his last tracks are all ready for release. Whether it's a classic EDM track, a Trance anthem or a chill deep house banger, you can tell that someone knows what he is doing. If you are a real fan of Electronic Dance Music in its original meaning and have a thing for pompous, often oriental-inspired music, I recommend you to visit his tracklist.

Drimeur
Raphael2022Drimeur is one of the few remaining representatives of the old-school Tech-House genre. He sticks unerringly and authentically to the sound design and the structure of his idols and still gives his tracks that certain pinch of profound musicality and Frenchness. Let's call it the Drimeur factor. But he also presents other classic dance-floor filling styles like Acid, Techno and Retro Electro on his never-boring tracklist. If you haven't ever looked at his portfolio, which has been growing for 12 years, we strongly advise you to do it.

sphere
Dylon2022We proudly present to you the winner of the last Featured Artist poll. We are especially pleased that it chose such a creative personality who, until not so long ago, could be considered an absolute insider tip. His tracks result from a sophisticated musicality combined with artistic fearlessness and an unerring sense of the extraordinary. Thus sphere's music remains only superficially inaccessible: once it has caught you, it unfolds a claustrophobic beauty that won't let go of the advanced listener. Congratulations on the deserved win.

ApoC
ApoC2022ApoC is a clear example of how, besides talent, discipline and hard work are also part of growing up as an artist. If we remember his first steps on Audiotool, we can see how far he has come in the years. He has grown both as a musician and a person on Audiotool. And we are pleased to have been able to accompany this process. Stay tuned, ApoC.

Melancolist
François2022Melancholy is what you probably expect when you read his artist's name. Melancholy is also superficially what you get but packaged with danceability, funkiness and even euphoria. Euphoria for the listener or dancer because Melancolist's synth lines, inspired by the pioneers of electro music, are heartbreakingly beautiful. Also, for the musicians among us, he conjures a warm and analogue sound from the Pulverisateur, which is unparalleled. That sound suggests a candelabra-lit room with a wall-high modular system rather than headphones on a laptop on a terrace above Paris' rooftops. Stop by again sometime. Your music is a blessing.

viista
Kurtis St. Marie2022viista is undoubtedly one of Audiotool's wild ones. His mixture of noisy Trap and anarchic Lo-Fi Breakz often scratches the border of the bearable but also gives you time to catch your breath in more relaxed Downtempo beats. His genre creation Vistacore keeps what the name promises. For all those who appreciate the experimental approach to electronic music, viista is a must. It is particularly well suited for those who want to push themselves in this direction, as it wraps experimentation in the garb of temporary popular music. Hats off, Mista Vista!'

leadenshrew
Gabe2022If you were to ask me for the adjective that I think best describes leadenshrew's music, it would be crunchy. The tracks, always produced to the point, whether Bass-Music, Drum & Bass or Experimental, to name but a few, have all captivating instrumentation and mixing through a clear crispness that is second to (almost) none. It's hard to believe that he had little patience to invest his time in music before Audiotool because this sounds like the work of an experienced producer and that from the beginning of his career on Audiotool. We need your UK approach to Bass-Music alive. So pull yourself together and deliver!

nico
Nicolás Sol Daglio2022nico's musical background is fully apparent. There isn't a single track where you don't feel someone that breathes music is at work. But it's not only on Audiotool that nico is active: the first single by him and his Jazz band, in which he plays the drums, celebrates its world premiere today in preparation for the album that will soon follow. We are glad that we've been able to contribute to the musical development of this talent over the last ten years and hope that he will remain with us for a long time.

Gravidon
Narada (Rada) Walters2022Looking back ten years, when Gravidon entered the Audiotool stage, it was clear from the start that we were not dealing with a beginner. Accurate in production and composition, he served professional-sounding EDM tracks with a penchant for the orchestral and a preference for pleasing melodies. A mixture which has chart-breaking potential. In contrast to his music, which does not skimp on bombast, Gravidon practises modesty and thus maintains the reputation of an insider tip over the years. Admittedly an insider tip whose influence on the development of the Audiotool Main Stage genres we can't ignore. Keep it up, Gravi!

Client
Cory2022Client is undoubtedly one of the heavy hitters in the Audiotool Bass Music scene. In the beginning, it was sound design experiments, mainly for Heisenberg Bass Sounds and dubstep tracks. But over the years, he has developed into a real, versatile musician who is not afraid of excursions into other, deeper sound worlds and delivers a quality that leaves nothing to be desired. Not without reason was Client one of the favourites in the Featured Artist user votings. We hope to hear a lot more from you, man. Keep it up! [Editor's note: I love long tracks]

okin
okin2022If you went back in okin's playlist to his (visible) beginnings on Audiotool in 2018, you wouldn't discover anything surprising: even back then, it seemed clear where he was heading. His opening track lost vale is an Ambient piece that tells a story full of melancholy and hope. You can see the images of the fictional film for which he created these enchanting harmonies. Until today, this uplifting, dreamy mood runs like a thread through his work. His - still other-worldly - melodies, in incomparable mature sound creations and beat constructions, skillfully span the arc between daydream and danceability and are thus much more than pure relaxation music.

aeiter
Ethan2022Aeiter is somehow the singer-songwriter of Audiotool. His vocals and instrumentation transport the listener into misty landscapes full of fantasy and enchanting melancholy without falling into esoteric kitsch. His collaborations with Naut are legendary and probably make both of them the users with the most trophies from contests on our site. But he also moves unerringly in other genres, as his more than 300 songs -mainly lo-fi and experimental- prove. If you don't know his music yet, it's time to dive in.

po9t
Ethan Kimrey2022While his first steps on Audiotool five years ago were somewhat clumsy, they already hinted at his talent for Hip Hop recordings. And today, we can speak without exaggeration of vocal and music tracks indistinguishable from professional recordings in sound, composition and presentation. With his track Headspace, he played himself into our focus for the first time, prompting us to hire him for the Beginner's Ride to Audiotool as a vocalist, to which he confidently delivered his high-quality contribution. All of these characteristics, plus his talent for presenting himself online, leave us in no doubt that he has a good chance of making it into the music industry. And we are happy to be a part of this path.

Two Sworded
Mike2022In more or less a decade on Audiotool, TS - aka Two Sworded - has not only grown up as a human being but has also solidified his musical style and now provides a foundation for the ever-growing Bass Music community on our website. TS is also convincing on his alt accounts, showing both variety and accuracy in his production quality. Especially on in. he thrills us with interesting sound constructs, cool beats and a deeper and more relaxed atmosphere, whereas the sound on Downlocked hits you directly in the face. If you already know his music, stay tuned. If you don't yet, what are you waiting for?

Wightfall
Jack Barta2022Wightfall's music is not light fare, yet it's a pleasure to listen to his mix of indie/alternative and electro. His album Nine Steps is an Audiotool milestone and convinced even those listeners not otherwise drawn to the darker genres. The emotional impact of his music made a name for itself at the latest with his contribution to the Team AT Work Contest, where he took third place together with Apollo and Nyafae. As we've learned, he currently studies at Oxford University, which has produced bands such as On A Friday, which is undoubtedly among his main inspirations. Anyway, we'd love to hear more Wightfall music soon.

▽Momo▽桃.
Monique2022▽Momo▽桃. is undoubtedly one of Audiotool's top-notch users. Just over 100 followers separate her from the artist's top ten, which would make her the first artist in it who has been active on Audiotool for less than five years. Her self-confident manner [editor's note: "snotty" was probably not a good choice of words] certainly doesn't go down well with everyone, but we can agree that this kind of polarization makes her a true star. Especially since she manages to transport this fearlessness into crisp pieces of music that are always truly entertaining and figuratively full of funkiness, no matter to what genre they belong. Please carry on delivering many more kick-ass beats in the future!

rai.
Rasa Ichimori2022The idea for the People's Choice Featured Artist originated in our wanting to leave it up to you to choose someone we might not have on screen ourselves. Not that this was the case when you chose rai, but we're still really glad that the majority of you share our estimation. rai. has made a name for himself in recent years and that not only with his high-quality contest submissions - to name just one: the Trap Kid Challenge, which he also won. To limit his style to one genre would be wrong. What distinguishes his music, however, is the high degree of creativity and technical accuracy. Anyway, we are pleased to present to you an artist who is as talented as likable, and we will now let him take the stage before we get completely carried away.

Vault Boy
Vincent (VIOK)2022The last and one of the youngest artists in the first round is a guarantor for nasty basses and heavy drums. At a young age, Vault Boy is already one of the top players in our well-established Bass Music and Dubstep gang. So buy some ear protection, pump up the volume and bang your heads to Vault Boy's audible punch in the gut.

Joe
Joe2022Frogs in suits, audio memes, funny pictures and titles - often exceeding the preview in length; That's Joe. But anyone who sees in Joe only the anarchic joker - which he undoubtedly is - does him an injustice. His work of art is much more: He surprises in between with a well-considered dose of seriousness. One of his covers shows a sad clown. Whether intentional or not, this suggests how we can interpret his work. His lyrics play skilfully with the advantages and disadvantages of the zeitgeist and the life of young people in this period of human existence. So he doesn't limit himself to sharing funny pictures but uses meme culture to express his message.

BubbLz
Zack2022Bubblz's way of merging cool trap beats with heart-warming synth melodies and atmospheres is rare even outside Audiotool. Her tracks are unmistakably hers, but listening through the tracklist never gets boring. Time and again, there is a surprising note or a poignant nuance you hadn't heard before. But what unifies them all are their high-quality value and emotional density that can never leave you cold. This music has the gift of breaking down boundaries. Thanks for the enlightenment.

Vulkron
Vulkron2022Vulkron can without exaggeration be described as a constant at the top of the Audiotool singles charts. Rumor has it that there were times when this was not the case. It is hard to remember them. The danceability and perfectionist production would make any festival crowd go wild, though the entertainment value of his art cannot be limited purely to the music. The anarchic, late-pubescent humor of the Fartstep inventor is always good for a laugh.

Tim Derry
Tim (KRΛVΛTT)2021If you're looking for clean funky House or chilled EDM tunes on Audiotool, you can't overlook Tim Derry. Listening to his tracks transports you directly to a pool party with sunshine, cocktails and beautiful people, of which for a few moments listening to his music you yourself are one. We have it on good authority that he is currently on a trans-Asian cycling tour and hope that he has enough connectivity in the wasteland of Funkmenistan to witness his big moment. Can you hear us Tim? Audiotool to Tim …

ØutOfBounds
2021ØutOfBounds: His name alone gives us an idea of what we are dealing with. Even if, roughly speaking, you can classify him as an EDM artist, he doesn't let that restrict him and surprises us again and again with border-crossers whose only limitation is the high demand for quality.

Naut
Truls Enstad2021High up in the north there lives a man who always manages to enchant Auditool users all over the world with his Ambient sounds and acoustic recordings. His gift for filling his riffs with so much feeling that the listener can escape the stress and bad news of this world for a short time is in a class of its own. His collaborations with the vocal talent Aeiter are legendary and have already brought one or the other trophy to both their shelves. Our newly created genre "Acoustic" seems to be made for you and is eagerly waiting to be filled with life. So come by and see what you can do

Syntax AKA Kiari
Nicholas Girouard (kiari)2021We are particularly pleased that this feature has at last worked out after such a long time. Syntax is certainly one of the longest-serving Audiotool veterans in our new season and a little something in this feature is sure to come as a surprise to one or two of you. Be that as it may, Syntax has been enriching the Audiotool output for a very long time with his versatile but always unerring and mostly danceable genre mix. We thank him for that and look forward to a further fruitful collaboration.

Jetdarc
2021If you think of Chiptune as rusty coins pressed into 80s arcade machines by tastelessly dressed, gum-chewing teenagers with roller skates, you're wrong. Jetdarc gives this genre something that has rarely been seen since the golden days of Arcade games: Epic grandeur. His science fiction opera Astral Aurora can be described without exaggeration as the Lord of the Rings of Audiotool. So his interview is a bit more detailed than the others. But, as with his literary models, it is worthwhile to delve into the textual depths. Because he has a lot to say. Thanks Jetdarc

Kibbey
Jordan Kibbey2021Jordan Kibbey plays the claviatur of airy bass music like one of the greats. His compositions always seem mature and original and often hold surprises and changes of direction for the discerning listener. For that alone he deserves our respect and admiration. Hats off to Kibbey

Fluent AKA Owtlet
Nash2021With his mix of chilled beats, a dose of thoughtfulness and a fair amount of Hip Hop, Fluent hit the mark and quickly played his way into the hearts of the community five years ago. Even when he minimised his release rate, he created an institution with the Beat Tape series which has already been added to the books of Audiotool legends. Thank you for your contribution, Fluent.

Icebox
Leo2021With his crystal clear voice, his great compositions and his production skills, no one would be surprised if Icebox became a big player in the international Pop Music scene. Or is it the dancing that is missing? You can tell us, Box. One thing is clear: we have here a young, up-and-coming multi-talent who has already more than earned his place in our Featured Artist annals.

Goon
Giles2021Goon has also been an active part of our valued community for many years. It's hard to associate him with one style, he's too versatile for that. But three attributes always apply to him: coolness, funk and danceability. Especially in the areas of House, New School breaks and Garage, no one can touch him. A special shout-out goes to his brother for the very special and creative artwork on his covers

Naswalt
Jacob Bartlett2021In his 9 years on Audiotool, Naswalt has developed from a quirky underdog to one of the most important and influential musicians in the community. His hybrid tracks, consisting of recordings from his own home studio and the Audiotool studio, are as indispensable for the charts as his entertaining videos for social media. Thank you for your lasting contribution, Tom Audiotool.
-
Flower
Shawn Baker2017Flower, also known as Aura, is a rising star on the Audiotool EDM firmament. Without exception his tracks are produced on point, clean sounding but still energetic. His more chilled tracks are no less focused but they gain their power from their engagingly calm melodies and easygoing beats. We recommend this flower for the cold season.
-
Lewi Astro
Mark-Lewis Ndikintum2017The other winner of "the most important election of the year" and first Featured Artist in 2017 is a guy called Lewi Astro. His exciting mixture of Hip-Hop- or Trap beats and atmospheric melody constructions is realized masterfully and has earned him a great respect among the community, as proven by the rapidly increasing number of followers and fans. Go and check his music out - you definitely won't regret it.
-
Rodrigo Del Canto
Rodrigo Fernando Del Canto Chacana2016In the three years of his presence on Audiotool, Roedrigo Del Canto has become a respected musician and popular member of the community. His tracks – most of them Deep House and Techno – are always produced on point and possess an authenticity which should make them a highlight in any Ibiza DJ's record case. We are glad to have on board such a friendly and talented representative of South America and say welcome to member number 5 of the legenday club 72. Congratulations on being voted a winner in our Featured Artist election.
-
Untrust 三
Aron / Aaron / Nicklas / Liam2016What better time could there be than Christmas to celebrate an international group of musicians and their ability to cross borders to create something special together. With their fifteen tracks Untrust 三 is one of the most productive supergroups of the website. Their sound design and meanwhile their strong melodic compositions have been setting new standards for more than two years now. We can hardly wait to get to hear the results of the first Untrust 三 live collaboration in Audiotool Next. Enjoy the Untrust 三 feature and of course the festive season
-
hvd.
Michael Lewis2016Mike is one of the few „oldtimers" who are still constantly active. In the early days he made himself a name with driving French House bangers only to turn under the new alias hvd. to the deep crackeling sound of the VLTRA context which he soon could put his own mark on. Our thanks for 250 largely awesome tracks at least as many constructive discussions. Respect Brah!
-
Carlyon
Ian Switzer-Lambrick2016Carlyon's outstanding skills are another proof of Audiotool as a talent factory. His tracks aren't only spot on the zeitgeist they are also original, incredibly clean and full of pressure. Initially dry and pithy Four to the floor tracks - after five years on Audiotool - turned into complex but danceable Neo Pop bangers which don't need to baulk comparisons with the new sound of Astrum. It's about time to upgrade his status as an insider tip.
-
Tyburn
Tom2016Tyburn - still known to just a few of us by the name of virtuousduck - is one of the formative minds of that aera. Hardly any of his tracks came to the public eye without showing anew what is possible with Audiotool. After the change of name and image some four years ago he devoted himself more to atmospheric Bass Music and then a short time later got together with an illustrious group of prominent colleagues to form Audiotool's first supergroup: "Future Sound Collabs". Here again he was responsible for the deep dusty sound of that period, taking it to perfection with among others Vltra and Nominal. His track list is a piece of Audiotool history, but one that with all its musical pleasures will enthuse not only historians.
-
Herlufsew
Herluf Sewerin2016Herusew is one of our new generation Audiotool hipsters. Contemporary EDM music is his metier as he demonstrates unmistakably with every tracks he publishes. We are in for something here, we'd better be prepared for it.
-
clu
Charlie Liou2016Clu - formerly known as clueless - is one of our high quality EDM producers. His compositions are always straight to the point and varied, falling into line with modern elektronic Music without ever becoming so mainstream that Oldschool purists couldn't enjoy it, too. Not without reason one of the Audiotool chartbreakers.
-
archives/Audiotool Hits
Benjamin Verti2016archives is not only a talented up and coming young artist with an inclination for obscure and serious melodies and settings. With his weekly compilation series on Audiotool Hits he makes it possible for interested users to get an overview of the wide scope of Audiotool artists and music in the past, present and future. It can't be taken for granted that a young person like him shows such a constant interest in the work of others. The passion for things like this brings us full circle to his artist name: Our special thanks go to archives.
-
SuperN.O.V.A
Tyler D. Clark2016To nail SuperN.O.V.A. down to one style would be sacrilege. Around spanking rhythmic constructions he weaves atmospheric melodies and sound collages as if - at the tender age of seventeen- he had never done anything else. Currently he is apparently concentrating on products outside Audiotool but looks in now and then, leaving behind audible proof of his existence.
-
Hangoo
Manuel Vinczencz2016 -
Bit-Tron
Lewis2016With his 300 tracks in less than three years, Bit-Tron is one of our most prolific producers. His passion for Hip-Hop is evident throughout his work, but doesn't restrict its variety. He leaves the design of his track and his Album covers neither to chance nor to others – another good reason for taking a look at this Audiotool Allrounder.
-
Arpeggiator Gladiator
Nikoloz Bernadsky2016To open our long expected new season we'd like you to take Arpeggiator Gladiator to heart. He skillfully mixes Acid, Trance and Techno creating a homogeneous blend without ever loosing track of the danceabilty and functionality. From our point of view a musician who definitely could get a bit more attention.
-
Regret
David2016The Name Regret stands for contemplative, atmospheric Downbeat and Drum and Bass tracks. With his previous alter Egos … and Mourn he had already gained the reputation of an insider tip that was to be taken seriously. And it's probably due to the changing identities that his work has remained more or less in the underground, lending an enigmatic touch to the whole matter. It's about time to check out this talented young artist called Regret.
-
Almate
André Matějka2016If you ever wondered who's behind that cat with the noble physiognomy, here you have it. Almate's roots are unmistakably to be found in Classic and Jazz, but these and other elements are skillfully mixed with contemporary sounds, mainly Drum and Bass. It's another of those cases where it is a real joy to watch a dedicated young artist grow.
-
ABADDON
Niels Bos2016ABADDON aka Lost Protocol is one of the few advocates of the harder, classic Dutch School – if not the only one. With his pounding Hardcore monsters he soon stood out among the tame mass of Audiotool users, who – at least where the music is concerned – tend to be addicted to harmony. That doesn't mean there are no sensitive tracks among his work. We are glad to see that he has survived his baby break and is back to provide us with the requisite dose of otitis.
-
arche3.0
Joshua Kasper2016arche3.0 must be one of the most unconventional Artists in the Audiotool community. His eruptive fusion of Retro Electro, Jazz and also elements of contemporary music like Drum and Bass and Electro Pop is without competition on Audiotool and can be attributed to him within a fraction of a second. At the moment things have quietened down around him a bit but that's no excuse for you not to give this explosive mixture a try.
-
Mute
Paul Linwood2016Mute's output rate is not the highest but everything he publishes has a special quality. In everyone of his cool Breakbeats and Dub tracks you can hear the experience he has collected over the years in this field of electronic music both as a producer and a consumer. Look by on him it's definitely worth it.
-
Approaching Human
John Cavanaugh2016John Cavanaugh aka Approaching Human is not only a really nice guy and much appreciated member of the community. His music has grown over the years from darkish sound experiments to deep Ambient pieces with a touch of Trap and playful Dance tracks. If you don't know him already, go and give it a try.
-
QVIN
Quinn Lemon2016Fresh and unspoiled QVIN who appeared on the Audiotool scene only a few months ago, presents us with a good mixture of contemporary styles. We are glad that the flow of new talents seems unending and that Audiotool can contribute to the development of young artists. And so we are proud to congratulate QVIN on his appearance on the online radio station 'Pandora'.
-
AUDIOARCHITECT
Martijn Jocker2016AUDIOARCHITECT belongs to the big, colorful family of first hour Audiotool artists. With his mixture of experimental Ambient and Trance influenced Techno tracks he delivered high quality again and again. Meanwhile it has become a bit quieter around the architect. No reason for us to lose sight of him: From time to time he looks in on us and leaves a musical reminder.
-
Christian Chrom
Christian Biedermann2016Christian Chrom definitely belongs to the Techno elite of the website. His tracks are without exception authentic, driving and produced straight to the point. That this does not necessarily require samples is proved by some of his setups which do without them completely without giving you the feeling that something is missing. Christian Chrom doesn't only sound like a big name, for us he is one!
-
EMIL SCHYREN
Prinz Emil Wilhelm Otto Karl Von Schyren Von Bayern2016Mystical bombast coupled with contemporary Glitch and Dubstep elements - that's EMIL SHYREN our primeval rock. Hardly an Audiotooler can look back on such an eventful musical past as HSH Prinz Emil Wilhelm Otto Karl Von Schyren Von Bayern himself. So it's hardly surprising that his tracks resemble anything but the work of a novice: they are polished to the last detail and professional sounding. Bottoms up EMIL!
-
Cal Lycus
Calum Price2016From his earliest Audiotool days Cal Lycus aka The Marquis was not satisfied with just making his own music and continuously improving it – which he did, without a doubt. His involvement in Community matters manifested itself in the projects and ideas (some of them really fun) which he has brought in over the years. At the moment he is, as co-initiator, working on the ATU-Podcast series, which he also moderates in a fresh way. A valuable member of the Crowd, whose music deserves more attention than it has been getting.
-
Sumad
Alexander Obst2016Alexander Obst aka Sumad is a real technical genius. His methods are as unique as they are unmatched on Audiotool. From the very beginning his technically and musically elaborate, claustrophobic Minimal tracks convinced users and team members alike. So it was not surprising that with 'Sumersum' he released the first a-records album ever in 2011. The sound design plays a special role in his production. By the use of bouncing and other tricky recording techniques he creates this special organic sound for which he is known and admired.
-
Ollie Jarvis
Oliver Jarvis2016Ollie Jarvis - known to many of us as Oscar Ollie - has unmistakably made quite a development on Audiotool since he's been active. If his early tracks sound a bit dry and wooden, today he releases atmospheric Dub- and Chill-Step tracks with an obvious love for details and sound-design which should find their place in the top league of Audiotool producers.
-
Notoz
Joao De La Cruz2016Notoz' atmospheric Breakz with their reference to the original approach of Drum and Bass stand out among the many young Audiotool artists. Unobtrusive, beautiful pads and sounds accompanied by easygoing Break Beats leave the listener nodding with a faraway smile.
-
DubLion
Thomas Waller2016DubLion began his Audiotool career when he was about twelve years old; at that time he tried his hand - sometimes more, sometimes less successfully – at crunchy Dubstep and Drum and Bass. Four years and some hours of practice later he produces optimally mixed Drum and Bass. Here his particularly strong point is the unintrusive instrumentation, so that despite driving beats we can be sure of a goodly portion of „chill". Yet another Audiotool youngster we should definitely keep an eye on.
-
Aron
Aron Büch2016Aron was quiet rightly placed first in the Drum and Bass section in the "Audiotool Day 2015" competition. With his perfectly produced, chilled D&B contribution he played his way into the hearts of jury and audience alike. You can tell from his tracks that he has invested a lot of time and work in his musical growth. We keep our fingers crossed for him and are pretty sure that this ambitious enthusiasm will take him a long way.
-
SharKyyo
Lyonnel Combes2016In the two years that he has been with us SharKyyo has worked his way up to become a purposeful deliverer of high quality, darkish Downbeat tracks. He is one of the most passionate supporters of the Audiotool collaboration spirit, as can be seen from the large number of top-class team works he has been part of. It will be interesting to see where the road takes him in the future. We wish him all the best for his recent birthday and a productive new year on Audiotool.
-
Sandburgen
Ralf Noetzel2015You only have to look at the number of tracks that he has produced – and the following he has amassed – to see that Sandburgen is one of the cornerstones of the Audiotool. Rooted in Minimal Techno and incorporating elements from Trance and Electro, he has crafted his own individual style that makes his tracks both distinctive and instantly recognisable. He encourages other users by consistently producing high quality tracks that demonstrate the full potential of Audiotool and set the standard for others to aspire to. [Mark 'Shakey' Valleley]
-
Zerod
Alejandro Ybarra2015Hardly another name has appeared so often on our wall in the last few months: Everyone wants Zerod! Reason enough for us to take a closer look at this young man: flawless EDM music with a tendency towards melodic Dubstep and an occasional touch of frenzy. That's what Zerod is about.
-
brainwalker
Stefan Holzner2015The list of Psy Trance musicians on Audiotool isn't the longest. Brainwalker definitely belongs to its pioneers and flagships. In every single note of his output you can feel the experience he has collected over the years he has been into this genre and music in general. A must at every Goa event!
-
floydpjasper
Jack Mills2015The impressive thing about Floydjasper is not only his unfailingly clean production and the outstanding atmospherics of his tracks - every second of which bears witness to his skills. But also his approach to other artists works and his way of commenting on them reveal his knowledge and love of music. An artist we can just warmly recommend.
-
ΛΛRON
Aaron Schäfer2015When in 2012 a young man called "Erdbeerquark" (strawberry curd) entered the Audiotool stage a murmur went through the virtual crowd. His very first piece went straight into the track feature of the old website. His chilled Downbeat tunes are always spot on. His atmosphere constructions enriched with his surrealistic guitar sounds draw the listener under their spell leaving behind a blissful sense of contentment.
-
Akimbo
Jack Hughes2015Another talented youngster in the Audiotool Artist Crew: Akimbo delivers polished Club Music with a focus on driving Drum &Bass. And that with a stylistic confidence which makes it hard to believe he is at the beginning of the road. Though he describes himself as an amateur on his AT account, many of his tracks wouldn't be out of place on an official publication. Be sure to check his music out, his future seems promising.
-
Apollo Euphoria
Ethan Lewis2015Apollo Euphoria is not only a highly talented young musician. With his Label/Artist-Promotion project GenesisNetwork he has in a comparatively short time made a name for himself on Audiotool. We take this opportunity to congratulate him on his birthday and look forward to many more awesome tracks and projects.
-
Jacob Tyler
Jacob Tyler2015Jacob Tyler is a real Audio pro. His tutorial templates are popular sources of good sound-design and effective production techniques. The legendary contest series 'Audiotool Day' which he initiated starts its fourth season on November 10th and in all probability will far exceed previous year's participation. Just one of the reasons for looking by on Jake's Audiotool page.
-
E-Trim
Bart Van Eynde2015E-Trim can't yet look back on a really long Audiotool career. But that's no reason for not taking a closer look at his nihilistically minimal approach. Whether he is letting off steam in physical Drum and Bass and Neurofunk tracks - in which milieu he obviously feels at home - or groping his way toward minimal Techno, he does both with the same intuition for dark but forceful Club Music.
-
dabrig
Pascal2015dabrig was one of the early representatives of minimal Electro music on Audiotool. From his early raw approaches you could see him getting more complex and coherent in the structure and melody composition of his tracks, till his work reached its climax two years ago when he created timeless Audiotool masterpieces like "Distant Moons" and "Origin of Live". Recently we have been hearing less of him but there is hope that this will change in foreseeable future.
-
[Hybrid]
Kahliel Jones2015[Hybrid] has been an insider tip for a considerable time. About three years ago his deep, atmospheric track 'Please Keep Breathing' had not only made it on the second a+ compilation 'Amorfx', it also topped the a-records charts on Beatport for more than a year. His mixture of abstract beats and intense sound formations is definitely worth a listen.
-
Mr. Standfast
Jack2015Hardly any other artist on Audiotool has such an unmistakably original musical profile as Mr. Standfast. Every one of his almost five hundred tracks is a small work of art, each with its own special cosmos. His work with drums, melodies and atmosphere is unique and for the inquisitive definitely worth studying.
-
Mikke
Mikael Quantacquapende2015The brand name Mikke stands for versatility at the highest level. Whatever style he adopts it's always the characteristic hypnotic synth melodies that are at the forefront and unfailingly hit the mark. The most recent sensation was the quantitatively and qualitatively very successful remix contest of his track 'Ghosts'.
-
[Khář¡]'
Nathaniel Green2015Another highly talented young Audiotool personality. The Trap Beats, which he mostly produces himself, give his tracks the independent character that is missing in the work of many others in this genre. Keep your eyes and ears open: there's something to discover here.
-
Universe Cosmic
Uriel Zaldivar González2015Whenever the signature n_n crosses your path UniverseCosmic is not far away. His fresh Disco House style is oriented to the origins from Chicago just like the French House of the late nineties. Get your bell-bottoms out and let the music play.
-
Infyuthsion
Michael Hleck2015Infyuthsion is not only by far the most successful producer on Audiotool. From Hardtrance to 80s inspired Electro beats he has a near perfect command. But his involvement reaches further than mere music making. His video tutorials have cult status and many a beginner has gained from them valuable insights into the use of Audiotool and production techniques in general. Thank you Michael for your support and the truly great contribution you have made over the years.
-
Bracolli
Gabriel Evangelista Adão2015Our final Featured Artist of the 2014/-15 season is Bracolli from Brasil. His style is orientated toward the classic electronic Techno and Acid artists of the early years and the original Dub Techno music of the Berlin based project 'Basic Channel'. Be sure to check out this talented young guy it's definitely worth it.
-
Teqtoniq
Arjun Sharma2015In his past four years on Audiotool Teqtoniq has made some kind of a fairytale career. From his beginnings as a comparative novice in production to one of the most successful and inspiring artists on the website. Hardly a week goes by without one of his tracks at higher places in the charts. Whereby he plays on the claviature of contemporary electronic music as if he never did anything else before.
-
Mikel Boyles
Mikel Arrid-Thomas Boyles2015Since the early Audiotool days Mikel Boyles aka Nowai has been a guarantor of a sound which - whatever style he is trying his hand at - shows his unfailing feeling for the origins of that musical culture. Whether Detroit -Techno, Chicago-House or Oldschool-Jungle: his tracks could without exception have had their place on the vinyls of that era. His portfolio is reminiscent of a visit in a records store in the 1990s.
-
Fauko
Tom Davis2015Fauko aka Pedestrian is one of the few Audiotool one man bands. His compositions are influenced mainly by the Synthpop of the 1980s whereby the pleasant timbre of his voice makes its own contribution to their authenticity and evokes memories of bands like 'Depeche Mode' and 'Camouflage'. Not only fans of the early electronic Pop music will get their money's worth.
-
Tottenhauser
Thomas Valcke2015Tottenhauser is one of the Drum and Bass bedrocks of Audiotool's first hour with a huge output of dark, minimal and always driving tracks. His enthusiasm has always been infectious but focused and effective: like his initiating the first international AT get-together, 2012 in Gent. People like him are a great asset to the community being a motor for its progress and inspiration - apart from creating awesome music!
-
Crazy about You
Manuel Francisco de Casas Sánchez2015Crazy about You's music drifts between melancholy and relaxation. Never intrusive, rarely melodramatic. There is hardly an Audiotool artist who connects his inner live so much with the music he is making as this talented young guy from Spain. An up and coming Ambient artist, who belongs on everyone's list.
-
Joa Ebert
Joa D. Ebert. The D is for Diego2015Joa Ebert is not only a very talented programmer and musician, he is also Audiotool developer of the first hour and father of the first track released on Audiotool. We still consider Joa as a part of the Audiotool team even if he has now already founded his own company with Tim Richter. Defrac is the foundation for the HTML 5 version of Audiotool to be released later this year. Thanks for all your hard work. Without you, Audiotool would never had been possible.
-
CGMan
Robin B.2015CGMan's Drum and Bass and Neurofunk tracks are legendary on Audiotool. It's just all there, in the right place. It feels as if a soul has been breathed into a huge army of dystopian mega-machines. Always somber, mechanical, yet funky and always on the edge of mixing perfection, everyone of his tracks is an institution in its field. From our point of view a well deserved top vote.
-
Slopo
Goran Spirkoski2015If you hear driving Minimal beats reinforcing mechanical chirps and swishes coming from all directions you have come across a track by Slopo. Even his first steps on Audiotool suggested that here is somebody who is in command of the Minimal materia. Now two years later the technical know-how is in place, so that flawless Techno tracks are guaranteed. Not only a must for Techno-Heads
-
Daftwill
William Lachoua2015Since the early days Daftwill has been a well liked member of the community and producer of suspense-packed dark Electro and Techno tracks. Among the sources of his input were a number of Audiotool greats of those days, as can be seen from the number of collaborations he has been involved in. With sixteen collaborations to date he must be the record holder on Audiotool.
-
Pathfinder
Metin Filiz2015To describe Pathfnder's style only as Retro would not do justice to his wild and always dynamic mixture. But what in fact is ever present is the character of the Roller Discos and Arcades of the late seventies and early eighties, enhanced with a trace of the Modern. And that at the highest level of production techniques. So pick up your joysticks and follow his path on the way to the Highscore.
-
Navor
Orion Hendershot2015Navor is one of a group of highly talented young American EDM producers on Audiotool and initiator of the very successful and heartwarming mega collaboration for a sick member of the community. In the wide range of Electronic Dance Music he doesn't want to nail himself down to one particular style. So better expect the unexpected.
-
Zé
2015Interview unfortunately not available.
-
Tornsage
John Ertsgard2015To call Tornsage an Audiotool legend is really not exaggerating: every one of his tracks raises the standard in the Ambient field a notch higher, showing us again and again how much magically destroyed atmosphere can be conjured out of old familiar piano samples. Beside his enormous talent he is remarkable for his friendly presence in the community: he gives new arrivals a warm welcome and makes them feel at home in Audiotool. Check out the man with the rabbit head!
-
SouthBronxDen
Dennis Davis2015SouthBronxDen has been an Audiotool elemental force since its earliest days. His consistently individualistic version of Funk and Jazz in all its scope is his main distinguishing feature and over the years has become his very own style. He skillfully manoeuvers around musical norms and comes up with a genre-mix which can perhaps best be described as Den-Fusion.
-
aBstracT
Nathan Glaser2015Together with Frigolito, Abstract is probably the user with most Swing characteristics on Audiotool. Expertly he mixes basslines reminiscent of Jazz with elements of Dub-Step, Electro House and Drum and Bass, and that with great success: with almost 500 Favourites, his track 'Illuminati Lumberjacks' is one of the all-time chart-breakers of our website. A must on any playlist
-
MCT
Tenji Tembo2015For about three years now MCT has worked his way through a range of widely differing Electro styles. From House via Trance to Ambient and - inspired by his great Audiotool idol VLTRA - even New Garage. His repertoire expands from track to track. If you remind yourself that he got to know Audiotool as a musical greenhorn, his progress has been considerable so that he has made his way into the community's heart.
-
The Seahorse
Mark Wells2015The Seahorse's first publication about a year ago, was more like a Machinist-based finger exercises than a complete track. But it was cleary the work of an experienced rhythm man. In this short space of time he has managed to enhance his skills so much that he can now create music which any movie director would give his eye teeth for.
-
Astrum
Jackson Hale2015It's about four years ago that a kid calling himself 'The Crazy Druminator' made his first tentative steps on our app. One name-change and 138 tracks (resulting in 11205 likes) later, Astrum has reached the peak of Audiotool popularity and long since stretched out his feelers towards the big stage. At the audiotool.con we had the opportunity to experience the energy of his music in a breathtaking live performance which convinced us all: this guy is going places
-
amœba
Andrew Edwards2015Talking about Audiotool's Ambient and Chillout music one of the first names that spring to mind is that of the hugely talented amœba. With a seriousness unusual at his young age he enchants the listener and takes him on a journey through his personal universe of sound. Find out for yourselves how well this artist's name suits his music.
-
Agrippa
Richard2015The dark figure of Agrippa stands out a mile in our colourful mixture. Reminiscent of the Gothic Music of the late 1980s, his New Wave Sound is chock full of the spirit of that decade and would not be out of place in any contemporary record collection. His eminently experienced Synth work is rounded off by his own vocals, oozing with a goodly portion of Weltschmerz. A real must, and that not just for listeners in dark clothes.
-
ΘLE
Ole Renfordt2015ΘLE has undergone one of the most perceptible metamorphoses in the community. If at the beginning he won the listeners attention with robust Drum and Bass pieces without any trumpery, his focus now is on sensitive, atmospheric Future Garage and Chillout. Both of his specialties are definitely worth listening to.
-
Triquend
Shahen Khandkaryan2015Triquent's tracks can largely be described as club music with a focus on Drum and Bass. What makes them unmistakable and unique in the community are the influences of Reggae and of the folklore of his home country Armenia. All that remains for us to wish for is that his studies leave him time for a comeback on Audiotool.
-
SOLACE
Solace Bowden2015Solace moves confidently in the field of modern Bass-Music, but doesn't want to be pinned down to one particular style. With contagious enthusiasm he throws himself into the production of his unmistakable Solace tracks. Let yourself be infected by his exuberance and creativity.
-
Cihangir
Cihangir Eryıldız2015Since the primaeval days of Audiotool the name Cianghir has stood for high-karat Tech-House floor-fillers. He masters the tightrope walk between Mainstream and Undergroung brilliantly, producing one clean authentic Club Track after another, all of which should belong in the DJ's cases throughout the world.
-
Potasmic
Nguyễn Trần Minh Khôi2015Khoi is obviously a very talented guy. Not only that he is a very good musician and constantly taking Audiotool to the next level, he also is a very good programmer. Having Khoi in the team would be a real enrichment for Audiotool. In fact sometimes we think he is already working with us. We hope some day, we can hire him officially. Keep it up, Khoi!
-
Bluedude
Jedediah Caro2015Bluedude stands for: powerful, funky EDM Sounds and has done so since the early days of Audiotool. All his tracks go like hotcakes and it's hardly surprising to find two of his productions among the top rated tracks of 2014. We are glad to have him back on board after a longish creative break.
-
Fontana
Fontana, Karl Andrea - aka Fonti2015He himself claims to have no experience in music production and not a trace of talent. But with his odd audio collages and a goodly portion of self-irony he has achieved the status of an Audiotool cult figure. From the earliest days of the website Andrea Karl Fontana, aka Fonti aka "King of Audiotool" has always left us wondering what he will come up with next. Hats off for this original personality.

Cally Kay
Caroline Kay Kennedy2014We close 2014 with the remarkebly talanted Cally Kay from Ohio US. As one of the few female users she has found herself a place among the well known Audiotool artists. We would like to take this opportunity to encourage more female musicians to join our community in 2015. Come on girls!

Oedipax and Jonjon
Suzanne Greninger & Jon Clark2014Oedipax and Jonjon, both AT legends of the first hour, demonstrate with their story how Audiotool can bring people together accross borders. Of course mostly this happens on a musical level. In this special case it led to more: Our congratulations go to Suzanne and Jonjon, who married in June 2014. We are proud to introduce to you the first intercontinental Audiotool couple. Not forgetting that independently of one another they have played an outstanding role in the qualitative development of Audiotool music over the years.

Grotzo
Alain Groetzinger2014In the person of Alain Groetzinger we have a real piece of music history in our midst. In the 70ies, as the drummer of the french Art-Rock band "Rockets" he sold millions of records. Today he inspires us with his banging Electro-Pop anthems full of soul and humanistic ideals. This week his autobiographical book "The Dream of Metal" is going to be released. One more reason for us to take a closer look at him. So should you too.

the B-ST
Bocar Talla2014For some time we can observe a steady increase in Trap producers and tracks. One of the driving forces behind this development is B-ST from Senegal. Never denying his Hip Hop roots, he produces one mature Trap beat after another. Definitely worth checking out!
-
Uprising
Patrick White2014Whole-hearted musician and number three of the most popular Audiotool artists. Patrick White aka Uprising comes up with professional sounding Bass-Music of all categories and thus serves as a model for many of our up and coming producers. It's only his output rate lately that gives any cause for complaint. Come on, Up!
-
JamBam
Jamie Cooling2014With JamBam and Retro you're not talking about bombastic Synthpop ballads or tempestuous cow-bells. Without a doubt his style was shaped by the club sounds of the early 1990s. Be it Acid, Trance or the raw Drum and Bass sounds of the end of the century, he's got them all at his fingertips and has only to add that distinctive JamBam something. His track "Set phazers on everything" made it onto the AT Cassette for the Moogfest 2014 from more than 1,000 applicants.
-
Cripta
Marco Falcini2014Cripta aka Marco Falcini is the Audiotool Techno producer of the first hour and creator of the legendary quote "No Pulve no party". Hard to believe that he brought with him no previous skills in music production. Always stylistically confident, always authentic he delivers one dance-floor filler after another.
-
Nionsomnia
Nionwa Jahi2014To reduce Nionsomnia to one style would be a sin. Over and over again he has demonstrated his command of Dubstep, Hip Hop - including singing his own Raps - and other variations of Bass Music. But he also produces heart-rending Trance synths and even banging Hardstyle Beats with an authenticity of style that would suggest a much more experienced producer than he can be at his tender age.
-
Jordi Moragues
Jordi Moragues Massanet2014With his authentic Retro style Jordi Moragues has secured himself a firm place among the popular Audiotool artists. Crystal clear synth melodies reminiscent of forerunners of electronic music like Vangelis and Jean Michel Jarre. Check him out and feel the spirit of those pioneer days.
-
In5omniac
Marian Sdraila2014It's a pleasure to follow In5omniac's career on Audiotool, the progress he has made since the early days is unmistakeable. While at the beginning it was still raw hackneyed phrases in which the musical background could only just be made out, today it has ripened into Minimal-Techno and Deep-House pieces that would have a good chance on the music market. An Audiotool musician who would have deserved more attention.
-
TRiCK
Patrick Kuessner2014Patrick Kuessner aka TRiCK stands for atmospheric Minimal Techno with no fancy stuff. But it's particularly his trips into the field of Dub-Techno that have made him an Audiotool institution.
-
White Grizzly
Massimo Buffetti2014From the early days of Audiotool White Grizzly has been considered to guarantee dismal sound-constructions. He is not restricted to crude eerie effects, but looks deep into the human subconscious and manages to express even the most hidden, basest emotions in his music.
-
opaqity
Liam Robertson2014Liam Robertson aka opaqity is not only the youngest in the round of our featured artists: he has also managed in the shortest time to teach himself how to produce electronic music and, with his relaxed chill-out minimal tracks, has become one of the currently most frequented Audiotoolers. Find out for yourselves.
-
mbelow
Martin Below2014Martin Below aka mbelow is a powerful force in the Audiotool team. His special field is complex data structures, which he processes with the dynamic drive with which he also approaches drumming in his metal band. A lot of our great innovations are largely due to his unbending will to optimize. Share with us the pleasure of having him on board!
-
Luxior
Lee Ho Seok aka David Lee2014Luxior is one of the Audiotool prodigies: at 14 the South Korean is the absolute chartbreaker. His mix of Eletro House, Glitch-Hop and Game music is as inimitable as the realisation is impeccable.
-
Vltra
Dakarai Shafer2014Dakarai Shafer aka Vltra is firmly established in the darker realms of AT Future Sounds. His seemingly supernatural atmospheres and the beat frames that remind you of surreal machine parks inspired a whole generation of new AT artists and make us hope there will soon be a comeback.
-
Shakey
Mark Valleley2014Talking about Brighton: When Audiotool Retro Electro is on the agenda you won't get far without Shakey. Since his smash hit "Venus Transit" he has had a firm place among the Audiotool greats with his regular high-quality output. His heroes from the pioneer days of Electro are always there in his sound but they blend in perfectly with the more modern track structures.
-
Marodeur (Tocaknox)
Nicolai Staufenberg2014Marodeur appeals by means of his authentic Minimal Tech-House Sound. His driving tracks, with their pulsating plainness, make no effort to deny his roots in the German Electro Scene. Three years ago he started to produce music on Audiotool. Judge for yourselves how far he has come to date.
-
Inavon
Stephen Tai2014Talk about Audiotool-Trance-Music and you won't get far without the name Inavon. From the beginning he knew how to use the resources to produce perfect authentic Trance pieces. His "Sole Survivor" remains to this day one of the historical highlights of the website.
-
Zone
Nicklas Sindlev Andersen2014Another Audiotool Chill-Out institution. Nicklas Anderson aka Zone conjures the crystal clear athmosphere of scandinavian nights on our home stereos. Take the time and look who's behind the trademark Zone.
-
Intracktion
Kai Franke2014Intracktion, the enigmatic genius. There's hardly another Audiotooler that achieves such a perfect synthesis of melancholy and euphoria in one piece of music. Not least because of his apparently fragile voice, combined with his perfect command of the musical material, a comparison with Radiohead suggests itself.
-
Flying Baby Seal
Vincent2014FBS is one of Audiotool's most versatile artists, and not only musically: the scope of his identities can hardly be imagined. Only the stilistic reliability he reveals in each of his numbers gives him away again and again.
-
Audial
Ewan McCulloch2014Audial's tracks are always technically mature and produced to perfection. This and his virtuosity on the claviature of styles make every new publication a pleasant surprise.
-
Jace
Joel Caffey2014For years TopHat has stood for high-quality atmospheric tracks somewhere between "Chillout" and "Future Garage". Give yourselves time and enjoy a sample of his mastery.
