Christian Chrom definitely belongs to the Techno elite of the website. His tracks are without exception authentic, driving and produced straight to the point. That this does not necessarily require samples is proved by some of his setups which do without them completely without giving you the feeling that something is missing. Christian Chrom doesn't only sound like a big name, for us he is one!

- Musical Style
- Hmm hard question but its Electronic music :) Influenced by Techno, Acid and Trance and sometimes I just do experimental stuff.
- Musical Background
- I have no real musical background but I have been interested in synths and djing since my youth.
- Started making music
- I started making music with Magix Music Studios when I was 16 but gave it up because I was more interested in djing at that time. Later I came back and worked with Rebirth-Reason 1-5, FL, Ableton and hardware synths/sequencers and found my real passion.
- On Audiotool
- It's about 1 1/2 years ago I searched the net for a Tenorion software emulator and I found the Tonematrix. It was not exactly what I was looking for but I gave it a try and while playing I saw a link to Audiotool and guess what :D I was hooked and started to explore AT and really liked the workflow and the simplicity of the DAW. After playing on AT for a while I realized that I was able to publish my work directly on Audiotool. It was mind-blowing that it became so easy to get my tracks public and get feedback on them from people who also make music. The moment I realized all this was one of the best moments in my time making music.
- Message to the community
- My life was an up and down like a sinewave and I did many things I regret but music always kept me on course. Don't force yourself to make tracks or aim at a genre. Try to make music out of your emotions and people will feel that the track is real. Enjoy what you do and have fun in your life.
