Mikael Quantacquapende

The brand name Mikke stands for versatility at the highest level. Whatever style he adopts it's always the characteristic hypnotic synth melodies that are at the forefront and unfailingly hit the mark. The most recent sensation was the quantitatively and qualitatively very successful remix contest of his track 'Ghosts'.

Interview

Mikael Quantacquapende Place: I was born in Rome, Italy on the famous Tiber Island right in the middle of the city. The non Italian name is due to the fact that I'm half Swedish. My mother is the blonde one and my father is the Italian one. Now I'm still living here in Rome but maybe I will leave Italy after school. I was just thinking about a colder place... oh yes I'm half Swedish. Age: Almost 18 Profession: I'm in the last class of senior high school.

Musical Style
This is the hardest question that Audiotool put to me. I think I'll define my tracks as a meditation but the truth is that I don't have one particular style. These are the ones I prefer and to which I'm getting closer: Cosmic Music, Ambient and Funky music.
Musical Background
So when I went to secondary school I played the flute... and that is pretty much my musical experience before Audiotool eheh. Not so much, really but I listened to a lot of music. When I was small my father made me listen to Peter Gabriel from whom I learned never to love only one single style.
On Audiotool
I started making music from zero experience (oh yes the flute...) with Audiotool three years ago. Making music by my own was never in my plans but when a friend showed me his tracks on this mysterious app I was inspired. After this I decided to open an account and to publish some tracks.
Message to the community
Thank you to all my supporters for these three amazing years especially jinx, farcio and whitegrizzly for introducing me to the community and for teaching me a lot of things :). Audiotool is incredible, it completely changed me regarding music. Also when I listen to music I now distinguish all the sounds and understand more things. So thank you for creating this fantastic app! Cheers Mikke.
