the B-ST
Bocar Talla
For some time we can observe a steady increase in Trap producers and tracks. One of the driving forces behind this development is B-ST from Senegal. Never denying his Hip Hop roots, he produces one mature Trap beat after another. Definitely worth checking out!

- Musical Style
- Especially with my latest beats, I would say that my style is somewhat cinematic yet can very easily be described as Hip Hop or Trap depending the genre I'm going for. I usually just go with what I feel like works the best when making a track (but obviously with some foundation).
- Musical Background
- From a younger age, music has always been in my heart. As a kid, I would always tap to the beat of any song I heard. My brother used to rap and I would always watch him and his friends playing with FL Studio and recording. My dad sings and plays the guitar, keyboard, and drums. When I was 11, my dad (who sings and plays guitar, keyboard and drums) taught me the c scale and from them on I tough myself how to play keyboard/piano from videos on YouTube.
- Started making music
- Around age 11-12 the online game Fantasy DJ wad what started me up in music production. The first program I used was Soundation, then I moved to ClubCreate, and later found Audiotool; now I produce beats using FL Studio as well.
- On Audiotool
- At the time when ClubCreate was gradually fading from the internet, I started to search for other free web-based studios I could make music on, and so I found Audiotool; which I immediately left because it was so foreign to me and I had no idea how it worked. A month later I came back and stepped into a whole new world and embarked on the journey that brought me where I am now.
- Message to the community
- To the people just starting Audiotool or making music itself, making music may not come easily to all of us, but that's no reason why we can't be as good as we want to be. There's nothing wrong with sampling; some of the best music out there has samples. If you're just starting out, don't be afraid to experiment with samples and see how different, yet relevant you can make the track. Force yourselves to improve and try new things. Curiosity can help you reach the pinnacles you plan to reach. Remember, Audiotool is a powerful tool... use it to your advantage.
