How to decrease midi input lag?

Hello I am trying to use audiotool with a yamaha electric piano but there is a delay how can I decrease it?

I have audiotool boster set to 256 buffer size but still have a small delay I am using the pulveriser synth.

yamaha p45 connected through usb

notebook specs:

i7 5500u 2.4ghz 2/4 Radeon R7M260 8gb ddr3 1600mhz 1tb SanDisk 3d Ultra SSD

Windows 10 2004 version (19041.508) chrome version 85.0.4183.102 with hardware acceleration ON

    As far as I know, MIDI latency can't be decreased by the user. The booster won't help because it's concerned with audio rendering from the app.

      Yes, there's an improvement, but it's dependent on buffer size. At the highest settings, the latency feels the same.

      Actually in my experience it does help alot. it's way better than without booster.
