I've always wanted direct permission to reconstruct someone's track without them ever having reason to look at me weird for using a 0.3 second long snippet of their vocal and turning it into a granular pad lmao
there's no immediate deadline for this. I'm thinking Halloween would be a cool publish day. I'll make sure everybody knows when I'm starting to close things down! :)

when I get a public album of all of the entries it'll be pretty wild! I want to find an interactive way to announce my choices for the official remix album release.
I'm expecting most of these to be trap beats with guitar/vocals on top.
No shade, I love that stuff and think it would actually do really well on spotify. But I think that also keeps the skill floor low enough to where anybody can have an actual shot at landing a track on the remix album!

imma work on the 909 challenge while I'm waiting on the last 5 tracks. There's like a whole month till Halloween, which isn't really a hard deadline. I might do a mix session to Dj the winning tracks together, I might do a whole listening party or even a mixing session to get the tracks to blend for the official release.

School says otherwise. I can't afford taking time to make music as this will be my last year.
Squeezing in any time is always an issue for me, and when AT is my only object of interest (and escape) it becomes a problem. That is why I don't plan anything larger for almost the next 8 months. I'll only show up if I literally need to.
Surprising work ethic? Probably. Does it make sense? At least seen from the outside, absolutely not. But I've felt the consequences of making music as a treat, before I've done anything significant for school. And then wasting hours to days doing what's pleasant and not what is necessary.
Just a heads up, Triune Worship comes out THIS FRIDAY
The Open Source Album is almost complete, too! Only a few songs haven't been remixed so far ;) The soft-deadline should be Oct 21 to publish by Halloween. We can always push that to a later date, if need be.
