my first official go with this genre

seriously, as someone who's been listening to said music since 2017 that really helped explore peace, new worlds in my head, my overly exotic imagination, and never ending nostalgia, I always wondered how the sounds were possible, but I never bothered of wanting to do such a thing until well... now!

and I realized accurately doing one takes a lot of work, so that's what I'm willing to do. please, gimme critique, let me know how I can improve my binaural beats cause I wanna make it as accurate and gud as I can be that'll actually help calm people c:

also thank you @sea foam and the wind and the wind for helping me understand binaural beats, it's A LOT to take note of but it'll be worth it in the end- this one was rushed so it's not really an official track sadly, just to test how well i know of the basics of doing these things lol

this is apparently an alpha/theta brainwave I'm attempting but I'm not even sure anymore which already shows I'm struggling lol

  • with pleasure friend :) some tips to help you:

    - 180-176= 4Hz is indeed a theta brainwave (no alpha wave here)

    - BUT OSC B is muted here. you should set your OSC B gain at 0.00 dB, and then the binaural beat will be created ;)

    - you can simply set the panning at -100 and +100 for OSC A and B

    - also, i'd suggest to set the sustain level at 100% in your main envelope to have a steady volume level from the beginning of the binaural beat

    - smooth chords, and interesting drums idea :)

    • hehe :)

      yeah same, it's pretty funny!

    • really plan to attempt doing all brainwaves and hertz so that'll be hecking exciting to do :>

    • and thank u for letting me know its theta cause i was confusing myself for a moment xD
