A couple things - I color organized stuff in the note track. You should too! Really helps keeping things organized. Also, I made the drums "fit" the track more. 'Fit' is abstract, but when you listen to enough songs of the genre, you get the 'feel' of it. I essentially made it lower pitch and lower frequency. I tried to make instruments more interesting alongside the notes they actually play. I also added automation; it's very useful in making your track sound more interesting, you should 100% try it! Changed the reverb so it doesn't fight itself as well and augmented the tempo, added crescendos and decrescendos. Please explore my remix yourself so you can gain an understanding of the feedback I gave!

  • Holy crap this is awesome!

    • Crazy how much difference a new drum and automation can do, right? Try to explore automation in your next track! With ambient work like yours, it will help making your track 'evolve' and make it more appealing instead of repetitive. As for the drums, don't be scared to experiment with them to find what sounds right! Excellent work and keep exploding!
