  • Awesome stuff! Try using less samples next time and experimenting with synths! The rhodes are a bit loud and blocking the guitar though. I think adding a low pass filter or changing the volume can change that though :). Also, try using automation to make the track fade in and fade out in the start and end. Experiment with panning, let's say we can hear the rhodes from the left ear and the guitar in the right ear. Great start :), you have potential, keep making!

    • What really helps me is analysing existing songs in the genre I'm aiming for. This is essentially: find the chord progression, find the instruments, find what each instrument does and how it changes throughout the track and then I write down why I think x part of the track gives you y feeling. As long as you make yourself proud, that's what counts :)
