and when u have white noise u hear that in between the peaks

Reesing is when u take two sine waves and slightly phase them out of tune. it creates a hovering effect. when u add white noise and distortion it gives it a heavier sound. the hovering sound your hearing is the peaks of the sine waves. however if you were to invert the sine wave you would hear nothing. being its 180 degrees out of phase.
