and i take just a lil low end out of the sample and tune the 808 sample until its the exact key and it'll hit just right and wont overtake the main sample but will compliment it

I take low end out of a lot of the hats and stuff and turn it up just enough before it starts distorting and then I separate the kick and the main track and turn the volume up and down kinda like sidechaining (learned that one from u XD)
