I had been playing around with the Amen Break in my previous track. I had never really manipulated it like that before and I found it to be fun. Here are some patterns for you on top of a shitty, cheesy happy shit stuck-up chords.

The Amen Break is cut up and placed in the Machiniste. Sample is at 138.2 bpm so without changing the speed, it would be best to use this at around that tempo.

  • love this

  • Needs some better chords though haha

  • The drums... i didnt know it was possible to glitch drums out so hard they dont even sound glitched out

  • I opened this up and I saw something that I've never really understood; the "Exclusive Grouping" button. I read about it on the wiki, but I'm not really following. Is it used like a mono/poly switch?

  • For not working with an amen break very much, there's some really nice glitching in here. Except I would normally hear glitchy stuff like that in an IDM track, so the stark contrast in the dark styled percs and the cheesy happy crap chords is almost laughable, even though the chill section makes it a little more bearable.
