  • I have a Shure PG58 I use, it was more like 69.99 lol, but I have done that before. It might be tough to stick a mic in my solid-body bass though ;) Maybe I'll just mic a cabinet sometime instead of running the bass right into the board. I think my mixer was the problem here, I didn't EQ the bass input right in the first place.

  • the best way i found for low budget a mic at 6.99 $ you drop that inside the guitar ...if that may help you ....all they effect are in here ok maybe not all but a lots i am not a expert but that go out pretty cool sometime ...

  • yeah not sure if those tweaks fixed the problem, or just killed the tone lol

  • fast part is slightly off time is what i meant to say

  • I doubled up the tracks and left the fast part sort of doubled up, gives it a thickened fast delay sound almost, covers up any slop lol

  • nice, thanks Uprising, new mix is up think i got it close to what you suggested and it is louder and clearer

  • all that is added to the audio track with the bass line

also for more volume click the + next to the audio track Text in the time line and add another audio track and copy it down. you should have two green Blocks in your time line on that one audio track :)

  • I opened it and was able to fix the bass line

1 stereo D tune off set the tune -10

1 tube.. Lower drive to 1 boost gain

1 slope set at low pass to get rid of the hiss with the frequency knob set to about 9:00

2nd slope petal set to High pass to Take some of the harmonic lows out

1 auto filter Frequency all the way up

1exiter turned all the way up

1 Graphic eq Default settings but Slightly boost the Frequency on the high side and in the highs side Boost the Gain all the way up .

  • 1 Compression pedal threshold 50% Ratio 1:2 Boost the gain all the way up

Change cent to a kobolt or at least Change the lows to their default settings

now you should be able to boost the volume of the overall track to a normal lvl

  • indeed, that seems to help :)

  • i'll give that a try thanks

  • you can fix that if you want by adding a slope to the PArt with too much bass and Switching it to hi pass of use a graffix EQ to do the same :) nice one m8

  • republished, still in the low end but less clippage

  • Warning: not recommended for laptop speakers, best w/ headphones or a subwoofer that can handle it :)
