    More stuff added

    • The bass sounds really full but also overpowering. I wouldn't worry about it though. You tried your best

    • @ApoC I think I got most of the stuff lmk what you think

  • The drums sound really good. Maybe you could try panning the hi-hats to the left and to the right ear for more rhythm. And for the snare, there also needs to be a clap along with it which is more punchy. The pluck is still fairly loud in the mix so I would cut the harsh frequencies out of it perhaps. Also for the reese bass, put a sub bass underneath it so fill the frequency spectrum better in my opinion.

    • Also more uplifters, risers, downlifters etc. will help too. Just to give your song more movement

    • Alr I'll get on that in a bit, off to next class now. Panning hats is a good call, I like it.

  • I would get rid of the muddiness on the chords and also take some of the harshness of the pluck out too. The drums could also stand out a lot more with distortion coming from the tube, and boost the dynamics with the exciter. And then I would maybe layer more percussion on top of the percussion that you already have to fill the frequencies out more. I'm aware this is experiment but these are just my tips. Because I've made songs that are pretty similar to this. Very short ones per se too

    • @ApoC did my best to fix all that stuff but the pluck is still kinda harsh tbh lol

    • No problem! I'm glad I could help you out

    • Good advice. Thanks for taking the time to critique. I'll either add those to this song or keep them in mind for the future (not sure if imma edit this song tbh lol)

Thanks to @ApoC for the advice and tips on what to fix. I wasn't really sure how to make the melody less harsh, so I did what I could, but idk how the result is honestly. Lmk if you guys see anything else I should fix.

  • "music" tag lol
