At least I’m being honest. I always wanted to chart and feel like I’ve accomplished something. I still feel the same as I did before me and vii charted. Most of the time it’s pointless to think your going to chart bc of the “genre” of music
yeah the limiter also helps with that. but for the most part, I would keep the limiter off and tend to each synth individually. Sometimes when you have the limiter on, it will over compress something that clips too much and then it sounds even worse
When a synthesizer clips, it means it's too far above the predetermined level it should rest at. In this case it's above the highest volume a human ear can tolerate. In other words, it is physically hurting me to listen to that sub on headphones. It also creates an unwanted layer of noise in your mix, which is also annoying to listen too.
