I completely agree, for me, I'll spend so long on a single segment, and then not know what to do next, so I just copy the segment and change it up. It has the detrimental effect for me in terms of having the same lead throughout the entire track. I feel like my track A Slow Walk is pretty reasonable, but my other tracks do get a bit flat as a result.

Sometimes I wonder how tf I made some of my tracks, couldnt even recreate them !
When you spend 2 hours working on the same 20 seconds part you can hear every effects fractionated, but you loses the "global view" of your track, sadly.

You gotta love it when you make something, then get a totally different interpretation after you make it :) - makes you feel much smarter then when you were making it for sure XD
