Something quick I made

Enjoy!

Remix is on, I don't see why I should turn it off.

Hope to see some cool remixes of this!

  • Very calming! Sweet and simple feel to it! I like the way you made it sound like something from outer space calling out. With the ambient it just makes everything come together so nicely!!

  • Nice one !

  • Ty all for the chart! <3

    • Making more ambient and soundtrack soon

  • nice wordplay in the title.

  • Good music; I like it

  • bro i love doing tonematrix tracks

    its so underrated!!

    this is super cool

  • Advice appreciated!

    • It won't let me change the time signature, I've tried double clicking and it doesn't do anything...

    • Also, with tonematrix, I needed a lot of reverb, with bpm being 30, the notes couldn't carry themselves like I wanted them to. I added a pulsar delay, but I didn't want the ms notes to overpower everything, just wanted a nice reverb effect. I tried to fill in spaces with a matrix, but it doesn't quite get the depth I wanted.

  • with soundtracks like this its all about the sound design. See if adding more layers, more effects (pulsar delay with the ms delay modulated is always a good friend!) and composing them all to fit together as bass, chords and leads really brings out a strong mood or story.

    Cool tone matrix btw!

    • Tysm! Yeah, I didn't know if it was like other DAWs, where I can change the tempo of only one specific track or not. Thank you for clearing that up, and for the tip! :)

    • 5 minute challenge? Great work in that case!

For note length swapping either a bpm change or manual dragging of each note would be required. Don't forget that you can hold shift and select/de-select each note too. Make those kinds of edits way easier.

    • I appreciate the advice, though!

Question: how would I go about changing the speed of notes without changing the tempo of the song, nor adjusting the notes themselves. Is that even possible, @naswalt ?
