Note: Incongruity of the second half is due to my inability to play the required bit on guitar. Hopefully the scaffolding isn't too offensive to the ears lol.

Atom bomb, shorn men mark

Immolate my mind and my sickly heart

It’s all so clear, it’s all so clear, it’s all so clear—you could burn my sins away

Free me

-

I’ll board the train

As the sky turns grey

‘Cause I can’t bear to face the wolves

We hate to see a good thing die

How deeply my fear in memory’s sown

You could never know

As I fall into an autumn scene

My bones exposed, my battered machine

My loose-end worries leave my soul

Everything’s outside my control

So we’ll drift and sway

As our forms die

So we’ll drift and sway, as our forms die

-

But when the sun comes up again

And burns us for our sin

I’ll run and board the train

Lest the world cover me again

Loose end, loose ends

They’ll stab me in the back again, and again, oh

So we’ll drift and sway

As our forms die

  • I'll be listening to these a LOT

  • might be my favorite one out of this recent batch

love that motif that starts around 3:40

drums in the 2nd half feel so organic

and if i haven't said it before on your other tracks, you have a great voice and range

love the dissonant vocal melodies you like to sing, especially what you're doing around 9:12 with that nice thom yorke-esque falsetto

    amazing stuff

  • !! Again, really impressed. I agree about 3:40 , this part is extremely poweful. And the entire track is absolutely outstanding.
