Ok, i need feedback on this.

The so-called "sample-gate" had me thinking about relying more on synths and less on samples for drums. I have a good load of personnal samples that appeared in most of my tracks for the last year or so, and they are still accessible to me, but I wanted to put an effort in drum design, percussive sounds, noise and texture. So this is a fairly classic dubish track, but everything is made with bergs and pulvs (mostly bergs).

What do you think of this? Feedback would be truly appreciated.

  • amazing

  • One piece that shows me the poor skills of mine - and inspires me to improve ;-)

  • Sounds good man!

  • Love the percussive sounds. I would have liked a more snare-like sound in this track. The one u use is a bit noisy imo. It could use some more mid range and body. But i really like the track as a whole. Very well put together

    • Thanks for the comment, I must agree with you, im not totally satisfied by that snare, i'm working on that (= I have a hard time having that body/mid-range without hearing a specific note in the snare tho
