I've always wanted to do something chippy so here it is.

  • nice......

    how .

    very.

    nice.

  • kinda like a classical sorta thrown in jazz arrangement? idk

  • Swing is really hard to get right without real instruments because so much of it is in little nuances.

  • Overall, however, cool track

  • You might want the bass to do some different rhythm at the beginning, kinda like what it's doing at 2:30 , and drop into the walking line when you have some call-and response lines to put the chords into context. The drums are all over the place. Drums don't hug the ride like that. Even when you listen to highly technical drummers, a lot of the time they're just laying down quarter notes on the ride and setting up hits for the band.

  • @abstract The chords were intended to have a weird timing. It's supposed to add some of the swing/drive to the offbeat leading up to the emphasis of the beat. Kinda hard to explain but it's supposed to kinda sound off.

  • could also be the attack

  • the timing is a bit awkward on the chords, I would make them more hit based. lovely melodies

  • I've asked for something like this to be done for so fucking long. So glad you did it dude. I've been looking for something like this to be produced in AT. Thanks bb <3

  • Glad you achieved it tho! Sounds amazing!

  • I feel you man. I've always dreamed of doing chippy stuff (video game theme sorta) but never could

  • Thanks!

  • I love that bass moving through all pentagram!!

  • cool

  • @Potasmic It kinda was influenced by gypsy jazz/gypsy swing.
