I am in a forest with others like me.

I can speak to the spirits of Nature.

I’m not human. I never was. And I don’t have to be.

I’m free, and I’m with other people like me, and I’m happy.

I have friends, and I can follow the call of adventure whenever I please. I don’t have to worry about a promise to stay behind. I don’t have to worry about walking on eggshells. I don’t have to worry about being a stranger in my own home.

Home feels like an actual home now.

I feel alive. Nature is all around me, and I can answer their calls.

I am free.
