Yes, it is supposed to sound out of key at times...That's part of my experiment.
This is kind of an extension of the Limit Series and my interest in Acid Jazz. I relied more on my ear than I wanted to, but it is an experiment in working with chromatic harmony to push the tonal limit further without breaking it (my LImit Series was trying to partially break tonality).
I'm just not good enough to know how to do this on the spot, so it's a bit repetitive as it was getting hard for me to keep trying to get things to not sound really harsh.
Mixing this is a nightmare :(
