More instruments could take this song to the next level. I would say a background ambience, like a pad or some of client's horn samples would fit this very well. Around 00:28 could be a cool buildup, a snare buildup (1/16, 1/32, 1/64, 1/128 grid) do it in that order and I think it'll sound good in my opinion

yea feel that, definitely helps with depth in the track for sure

I mean just any feedback really positive or negative I feel like I should focus on backing sounds to fill the track because I get a good sound going but leave it kinda empty

oh the flow, not being a yes man but
the flow's crazy for sure, fits so well with the vocals.
agree with Apoc though, and maybe add some more percussion but that's pretty much it
