  • oo this is actually pretty dam decent for ur first try at slap house bro! :D

just a few tips for ya man :D :

    1. the bass and kick are very badly mixed, especially in the drop, which results in too much volume and overlapping frequencies. This leads to clipping and usually unwanted distortion, which ultimately ends up with a not-so-clean mix.

    2. the sound design is repetitive, and not the best, but u are still new so just keep that in mind lol :D

    • yea the drum were nalo19 idea which r very good just not right for the drop

    • That's a lot to read... XD

    • (continuing on tip #2)

the reese bass kinda sounds flat and boring, sound design wise, and the bassline has not that much excitement to it overall (rhythmically). You have to remember that in Slap House, the bass and rhythm is key! ;)

  • Also to add what revo is saying! I really really really suggest looking into GAIN STAGING!!! I cant stress it enough... I waisted so much time not knowing how to mix! I kick myself cause its so easy and simple, but i would never break down and take the time to figure it out! Here is a good video on gain staging! also watch videos till you understand it cause I promise it will change your world!
