Finished the second phrase. Harmonized some of it and added a bass stab instrument (I kinda like like it).
Going for more of a heroic theme this time. I'm working on adding the metal parts of it, but for now at least I've gotten somewhere.
If you've got any tips at all for how to metal-fy this, please let me know.
