I wouldn't say it is a remix because i think you only remixed it to use the ps2 sample

Don't worry, we never stop learning!! And yes, i think you can call it in both ways. I prefer remixes on here because when samples are used from another song you have to publish it as a rmx, but i could change it nameofthesong_mix .

oh okay i didn't know that. in other genres i'd consider it just sampling though

+ tekno remixes are usually completely different to the original track, usually includes just some melody, vocals, exc.
