  • Cool concept and great drums!

I notice that the middle bass you play with the Pulv over the sample doesn't match the bass of the sample tonally.

The sample seems to play F, A, and D in the original tempo of 90bpm and A#, D, and G at 120bpm (raised 5 semitones) .

Your bass plays throughout C which forms a tritone that sounds dissonant.

To make it fit, you can raise the Pulv notes by 5 semitones, i.e., A#, D, and G (at 120bpm project tempo).

  • 01:54 this fake ad reel is somehow my favorite part 🤭

    • Sorry i meant fake as in hypothetical, I think.

this track feels like a broadcast and the commercial is like the ad bumper. Without the bumper it wouldn't feel like a broadcast, but I don't think the purpose of making this was to make a "fake broadcast" so that's what I meant if that makes sense?

    • no, that is a real ad from Cheerios from 1984

  • Love the punchy drums in this one. Has a really epic 80's intro too, love those arps.
