I want to make a couple things clear first.

1) THIS IS NOT A REMIX. This was merely an exercise for me to grow as an artist on Audiotool. I urge you listen and give credit to the Original Mix to Jace. I just wanted to explore the track, look at some techniques, learn new things (esp about Ambience and related styles cause I suck at it) and grow as an artist.

2) I barely changed the layout of the song. All I did was work on the following. I work on the compression for the pads (tried to make it ripple like a puddle) for both the threshold, ratio, and velocity; reducing the noise that is emitted off the pads (make it sound clean), and worked with the slope (especially at the end, I wanted the guitar to flow in and dissapear with style - like a cloud per say).

That's it. ENJOY!

  • Nice and clean :)

  • aah the concept is so simple but the masses will never know :|

  • I appreciate you editting this track, ill look in and take a closer look at what you did when im near my laptop (:

  • Omg this edit is so clean and absolutely gorgeous.. the kick is clearer (did you realize that compression side chaining also effects a samples attack time? :p). Wonderful edit.. I can hear the differences. Remixing is perhaps the best way to learn on this site. I speak through truth that nothing forces you to think more than when in the foreign enviroment of another person's track!
