So, basically, it's a culmination between a white noisey bassy pluck and a heavy detuned-EQed-compressed snare. If you look at the draft, you can see that all I do to change the texture and the accent of the bass is just by automating the pitch knob on the Mac-n-cheese. You don't have to use the snare that I used, I would actually recommend trying others in order to get different results. Just make sure you cut off some of the lows in the snare to make it less... Snare-y. As for the bassy pluck, I'm lazy as fuck so I just use Joevee's plink plonk preset and just mess around with it lol. Ya'll can steal this, I don't really care. Hope this helps those who are struggling to make gunshot basses! They're fun to mess around with:)

    • Do it. It's pretty easy to manipulate too. Only issue is if you wanna do melodic stuff you gotta go by ear with using pitch control
